UCOCocoon Neoprene Cover for UCO Lantern

This product does what it says it will but man it’s a bear to install on the 3 candle model. Took some patience but is finally on. It could actually be made just slightly larger to facilitate an easier install on light. But is covering and protecting so I’ll say so far so good. I love the logo on the top. It looks sharp

Got this to protect other items in my pack.Had the original Brass UCO's back in the 70's and wrapped them in a cloth to keep the bale from being bent and protect other items in my pack from being damaged by the edges of the lantern, never had issues with the glass.The Cocoon serves this purpose well.

This is for the three candle lantern. It seems to be well made but poorly thought out. You have to fight the cover on because it is so tight. A little space, especially with the handle in the way, would make a world of difference. The lid just flips over into place and has no way to secure it. It is so tight though that it won’t go anywhere. I would prefer a zipper to close it or at least some Velcro. Since it is so tight fitting it doesn’t close all the way either. The lid is held on by one small strip of neoprene that I bet will tear with use. A two piece, properly sized, Velcro or zip together system would be much better. That being said, it should protect the lantern from minor falls. I would buy again but only because I haven’t found another option.

It fit prefect and does a good job

not exactly easy to use and there is no mechanism to keep it closed and since it is such a tight fit it doesn't really fit that well.

I love this handy little lantern storage. It seems to be pretty sturdy and so far it's done what it was designed for. It keeps my lantern safe from breakage. NOW...would you make one that will handle the Candlelier Lantern please!!! The box it came in is getting quite worn out and doesn't provide any protection.

I really had reservations about buying these things, being made in China and costing $7.58 for a piece of neoprene (foam) but said what the hell and ordered two of them. I have to say I was really surprised when I received them, the stitching and the fabric covering the neoprene was very nice and it even had a cool little UCO logo on the top cover.These cocoons have a hinge and no latch to keep them closed but they fit pretty snug, I made a latch out of Velcro for them but I think it's just overkill. You can also fit the lantern with the bail and chain in these but they will have a bulge at the bottom and they won't stand up, if you don't mind that then go for it.The only con that I see with these is that they should have made them 1/2 taller so the bail and chain can fit better, other then that I highly, highly recommend these to all of you UCO Micro owners out there.

Bwgen handle of lamp folded it was very hard to get this cover on and then when I did and folded on top part it left a gap around middle I thought it would have had a zip to keep it closed ,I think of this gets packed and something pushes against itthonl the glass could get broken whichDefeats the whole point of the cover

It seems expensive for a cover at first, however if you have already invested in what is an expensive candle holder I strongly recommend this cover. Great protection, fit and safe to store.

Could not use this item. Bought it combined with the UCO micro lantern. The lantern never got delivered. Apparently it went out off stock after I placed the order and still that way. Even though stock was stated on buying. So now I own a useless piece of sponge.

A snug fit but that is ideal with the candle lantern as the glass needs protection as does not retract into case like the single candle burners. Well made good quality and will so the job it is designed today. More protection than a standard cloth bag. Prevents damage to glass when placed in a kit bag or other transporter.ideal for long term storage. A little pricy so hence the 4 stars.
