Very versatile
Good for buttering slices of bread as they’re kept within the ‘v’ shape on the board. The spikes are brilliant. You can put a loaf cake on to slice it or a scone to butter it. It’s brilliant for cutting/slicing fruit and vegetables. There is also an interchangeable disk which can replace the spikes when not needed. They can both be inserted easily. I can only use one arm after a stroke and find it really easy to change the discs and manage the board well. I would certainly recommend this item.

It’s the wrong wat around however
Basically the spikes are in the wrong place. It’s a simple as that really does spikes need to be towards the middle of the board rather than off to one side which is often and on the very edge of a piece of bread or even missing a piece of bread. Spikes are also very long which is useful for appealing things, but not so useful for buttering things. But there is no alternative, so I’m stuck with this until somebody brings out one which is better and cheaper. So in summary it’s okay.

I wish I had bought this years ago.
I am paralysed down left side. I bought this to help prepare veg. It really helped keep potatoes and carrots still while I peeled them. It was so easy. Board did not slip around at all. Well worth it.

Great idea not well thought out
Saw a recommended version on American Amazon that was o/s so ordered this. Same principal but disappointingly badly executed. There is a disc of sharp spikes, 8-10 or so, to hold onions, potatoes, etc, to be cut which does not twist or fix into the base apart from two notches it sits straight down into. When you try & get anything off the spikes which is pretty much impossible one handed anyway, the disc lifts straight out of the board with nothing to stop it. I resort to pulling it out of the vegetable with my teeth which is less than safe on many levels. It needs far fewer spikes & for them to be bayonet fitted in so you’ve something to pull against. No idea who passed this for disability use!

Small, expensive and poorly made
The spikes fell apart in the dishwasher, and only good luck prevented them from breaking the machine

Don't buy if you want to use the spikes
I'm one-handed and need tools that make things easier in the kitchen. I bought this mainly to help with chopping and peeling vegetables. For this task it's really extremely poor. I guess, if you're just wanting to use this to spread butter on bread then this might be an ok tool to use however as toast/bread puts up little resistance. However - if like me, you're wanting to be able to secure vegetables using the spikes so that you can peel/chop them, this device is really aggravating to use. If you attach something like a potato or an onion onto the spikes so that you can peel or cut them, as soon as you're done and need to rotate the object, you'll find the spike circle has popped out of the board and is embedded itself into the potato. So you now have the extremely difficult task of having to prise the extremely sharp spikes out of the potato with one hand. Most of the time I end up stabbing my fingers and when I eventually do prise them apart with force, the veg flies across the room and onto the floor. Absolutely useless.Further to that, the spikes are really difficult to clean because they're sharp and because they pop out of the board. The board itself is also entirely the wrong sort of plastic for a chopping board.

Simple but extremely helpful.
My husband has managed for years without the full use of both hands due to polio, but is now finding it much more difficult as ageing doesn't help either, but this simple aid for holding a slice of bread, scone or a piece of fruit or veg while you butter, slice or chop it is so simple and it has changed what he can now do easily without frustration. The price is amazing too, as most aids cost a lot more.

Very small
Ideal is great. Board just plastic and very small. Not regular cutting board size. Quality could be better. Took long time to arrive. Price too much not worth it. But great concept to have nails sticking up on a cutting board to make hand injured person's life easier.

Poor design
This product is to small and to light. the border that surrounds the outside area, make cutting impossible. this is to light. when you make a cut the knife gets stuck and with one hand very hard to remove. This was a complete waste of time and money.
