Better and easier than spackle

In the past I purchased the smaller tubes which were a lot easier to use. For some reason they discontinued the smaller tubes so I went with this size but they’re harder to work with, because the plastic tube doesn’t work like a tube of toothpaste, it regains it shape after you squeeze so you constantly have to start over from scratch while using. The actual product works great but it’s not user friendly in this size.

This product is so easy to use and is great for small repairs. Ive used it all over my house for holes, scratches and flaws on walls. It also works very well on furniture. A dog had damaged this hutch. I patched it with this drywall repair kit, and it worked great! Put it on and shape as best you can, let it dry and then sand off. I have been using it to repair furniture for about 5 years and it holds it very very well.

I had to go over the hole with a couple of coats because once it dried it would show an indentation where the hold was. Overall if worked.

Works great

I used this kit to touch up a teen boy’s room before painting. There were multiple dings and pin holes and nail holes. I was able to use the patching compound and smooth it out with the included tool and then go back and sand for painting when it dried. All in one simple kit! It turned out great!

The horsehair plaster in our stairwell has started to disintegrate, leaving gaping, unsightly holes. I know this isn't really how it should be repaired, but this looked like a solution until we bite the bullet and call an actual plasterer.The holes are pretty deep, so I had to do several applications. I let each coat dry before putting on the next. It dried pretty quickly and after a few days the hole is mostly covered. There are cracks as well which I smeared some of this onto. I'm not sure if it will prevent it from further disintegration, but time will tell.It's handy that this comes with the two spreaders so you get everything you need in one package. For $12 for two tubes and two spreaders, I would say this is a fair deal.

This is a great little repair kit, and you really can't beat the price at $7. The drywall mud is a good consistency and sticks well. The inclusion of two types of scrappers is nice for different applications, and I especially love the inclusion of sandpaper - I always forget about that when I'm fixing dents.
