This is brilliant tea strainer and infuser. It's not cheap but it is worth it. Made of high grade stainless steel with micro holes that do not let the tea out into your cup. Believe me - that is the best selling point right there. I love loose leaf tea but I hate filtering bits out of my teeth when you reach the bottom of the cup. So many strainers let bits of the tea out but not this one. It does float a little when you pour in the water but if you pour in the little cup at the top of the lid it pretty much keeps the infuser from floating. I love it so much I bought one for the wife too :-)

I am very impressed with this tea strainer - it can take a lot more tea than an egg shaped strainer. Also, with its fine mesh, there is much less escaping tea particles. Finally, it is very user friendly. The screw top is easy going and the little handle at the top makes it easy to swirl round. The size of the strainer is such that it fits equally easily into a teapot as well as into a tea cup. We couldn't live without this little gadget!

This is well made and works well in a teapot where you want to close the lid without a chain getting in the way. You can then hook it out with a spoon if needed. The only problem is that the very fine mesh tends to trap air, causing it to turn upside down and possibly hindering the stewing of the tea.

well made with fine mesh and good threads ! got this to filter tea and other foraged items in my life-ventures insulated cup ! it fits but dose tattle and sinks to the bottom. was so impressed with the results that i have ordered the stainless insulated flask that this fits ! hope its as good !

Smaller than I expected but I should have looked at the size, having said that it is really good for tea pot use. Top unscrews lots of room for adding loose tea leaves, screw top back on, pour boiling water into tea pot, drop strainer into pot and there's still room to put tea pot lid on. Shake tea pot, wait for a few minutes and you have easy to pour tea without little bits coming through. Very easy to unscrew so you can tip spent tea leaves onto flower pots, veg area or bin. Nice product especially for the price. I received it two days after ordering and am pleased with product.

This is the second one I have bought, its strong and easy to clean. I use it with very fine tea and non comes through the fine holes.I find it really easy to clean,, all the tea just rinses out, nothing gets stuck in the holes like it does with other tea strainers and tea balls. Not cheap but, the quality is amazing and its really worth the money. My friends are impressed too and are planning to buy their own. Highly recommend this product.

I have bought a bespoke tea, and required a bespoke solution to mixing the water and the product. This allows this to happen free in the pot as opposed to constrained in the lid area. I a man now allowed to fully enjoy fine teas with fine products getting it to the table.Technically, very well made , seals off to prevent tea leaves escaping, ideal. Thank you

Great strainer but it could benefit from a small chain to make sure it stays upright in the pot and to remove from the pot easily.But the devise itself is excellent. Highly recommended
