It’s a good size product, and great for use on short hair. It does heat up very quickly and you need to ensure its balanced correctly on a table etc to stop it rolling onto the side

I DONT AIM FOR THE SLEEK LOOK BUT I LIKE TO GET A FAIRLY STRAIGHT UNIFORMED LOOK UNDERNEATH AND ROUND THE SIDES. the straightener works and is fit for purpose, but it quickly becomes too hot to touch and doesn't come with any protective gloveswhen only turned on for short periods, it's fine

I bought these straighteners for when I go away. They are small a d ideal for short or mid length hair. They get hot really quick and come with a neat travel bag.Would definitely recommend these and are great value.

I bought this for my shorter hair. However, my problem with this particular one was there is no temperature control. I didn’t catch that when I bought it. So it gets ridiculously hot to the point where it was burning my fingers when trying to use it. I kept it, but I’ll use it in a pinch if the other one goes out. It’s the perfect size though. I took a picture of it next to my full size flat iron, it is VERY small.I have A LOT of hair, after I shower and blow dry, my hair is huge and it is textured (Mexican wavy).I was able to get it all ironed out by; 1st) clipping up 2/3rds and ironing the underside. 2nd) Then I dropped the middle section and ironed it and 3) Finally, I dropped the last section (the top of my hair) and ironed it.It took me about double the amount of time it takes with my full size iron, but again, I have a lot of hair.If you have thinner hair this unit will probably work just fine for you. If you have a lot of hair, it should work but it will take more time because the sections you can iron have to be smaller.It is so small, if you have large hands it may be cumbersome. I did not have any issues with accidentally turning it off while holding it though.It has a lock feature on the end where the cord comes out. You can hold the iron shut and then pull the lock out to lock it shut.I didn’t like that it won’t stand up. It falls on its side so I will definitely have to have put something under it. In my picture you can see that I use a dollar tree hot pad with my full size iron.I am going to keep the mini iron but will definitely only use it for occasional travel.
