Men's Scorpion II

Never owned a pair of Chinook boots before, but I will most definitely say these are a great pair of boots! All the protection I need as well as comfortable. And will most likely buy a second pair when I need to replace this pair, or should I say IF I need to replace them.

Initially bought these for my boyfriend who is a Mason and has been one for 18 years. He goes through boots every six months he'll blow out the sides of them he has gone through military boots the soles of worn down to absolutely nothing. These boots did not hold up longer than 4 months. For $160 I'm very disappointed and will never again buy this brand again. They looked well built and sturdy and we're quite comfortable however they did not make the cut in durability. They are blowing out at the stitching very rapidly and I must buy new boots immediately as a result. A decent pair of work boots should go a year at least. These made it 4 months. I do not recommend them. Both boots same spot one boot worse than the other.

Awesome boots ! Fit and feel great. Was leary about purchasing due to price kind of expensive , but well worth it. I work in construction so wear boots 5-6 days a week and am very hard on them. Will definitely purchase the next set from Chinook. Hopefully not to some seems like they are very durable and will last longer than the last set of boots I had.

My husband usually wears a 8.5 in his regular every day shoes. I ordered him a 9. They fit perfect! He states they are extreme comfortable. He walks on concrete floors all day. These boots are well made and flexible. This company has great customer service!!!! I ordered the wrong size and I had to email them to get the correct size. They emailed me right back and they corrected MY error! Thank you! Got the boots a week early in the mail also!

These are probably the best fitting pair of boots I've ever bought. I've only had them a few days and they're already almost fully broken in. I didn't even get blisters. They get more comfortable every time I lace 'em up. I had the "Tarantula" model a few years ago, and I only retired them because my stinky feet ruined them. After almost 2 years they were still in one piece which has never happened with any other footwear I've ever owned. Fast delivery too.

These started out as a comfortable boot. However, two days in and they were leaking water. Within a week, dust and mud was being pushed into the toe area making my toes cramped. These are by far the worst boots I have owned. I am a coal miner and need a good boot to get me through the day. This is the last time I will ever buy a cheap boot just to get by. Unfortunately, I am out money but forced to wear them until the new boots show up. I will just have to go back to buying Matterhorn and paying the $250. At least they last a 10-12 months. Stay away from these boots! They are also not fully waterproof. They will only keep you dry if you are in about 4” of water or less.
