A few days ago I inadvertently left my headlights on and drained my battery. I'm an old fart so I used jumper cables. Plugged everything up like you should, waited a few minutes....my car would not start....waiting a few more minutes...nothing. I called my son to bring the jump box.This thing is pulling power from a portable nuclear reactor I think!!! I barked off my car with ease!!! I was truly impressed how something so compact could deliver that kind of power whereas a traditional jump did not.SO...lets talk about why you need this in all of your vehicles.1.) Portable...it does not take up much room at all2.) Safety...lets be honest there are a lot of bad actors out there...with something like this it gives you the edge in self reliance...no waiting around in a sketchy part of town...plug it up, start your car, head home.3.) Battery life. When I jump my vehicle it was at 100%, after that jump it went to 90. I, literally, this morning had to jump my sons work truck...it went to 82%...so it takes ~roughly 10% of the jump boxes battery to jump a car...so...roughly 10 jumps off of a single charge.The thing is super easy to use. Turn in on...plug in the provided cable that can only be plugged in one way...clamp the red to your battery positive (+) clamp the black to your battery negative (-), start your car.....It really is that easy....And for the prices with the flash sales and cool discounts they offer....there really isnt much of a reason NOT to have one...brown bag your lunch for a few days instead of eating lunch out and you will easily pay for this.

The battery in my car died. Completely died. It would not crank at all. I wasn’t able to go get a replacement battery right away, but I was able to order this portable jump starter. I was able to start the car every morning and every afternoon for several days using this portable jump starter. I never had to wonder if it was going to work, it just worked every time. I’m still amazed that something so small can jumpstart a car. I am going to get one of these for all of my vehicles just so I can have it on hand in case I need it. I have no Reservations about recommending this product for anyone who wants the convenience and the peace of mind of a portable jumpstart.

Ok, I am giving this 5 stars at the moment with the disclaimer that I have not used it yet. I will say that the flashlight is bright. And the build quality seems very good. It comes with a nice heavy semi-hard case. It does not come with a charging block though. Which leads to the remainder of my review that will hopefully help others if they have slow charging issues. I will update this review and stars once I get to use it to jump a vehicle.I am a question I asked about which charging blocks will work with this and charge at 9 volts and 2 amps. None of my charging blocks I already had would work at 9 volts. I got a few answers and only one sort of answering the question. But I was surprised to get a message later that evening from the seller giving me a suggestion of which block to use for 9 volt 2 amp charging (that the device manual suggests using over 5v). The charge on my jumpbox has went up 6% in less time than it went up 1% with a charging block that was outputting 5 volts.Also note that the display does tell you what voltage it is charging at. It will either say "5.0V 2.0A" or "9.0V 2.0A".I hope this information helps others with slow charging issues. And kudos to the seller. Thanks for the quick answer.

When I ordered the jump starter, I did'nt have any battery problems with any of my vehicles. But a couple of days before it was delivered, the battery in my 1976 F-150 went dead. This presented an excellent opportunity to try the new jump starter out. When it arrived it had a 78% charge. The instructions say to charge it for three hours when you first receive it. After the first hour on the charger it still had 78% and had me worried that it was defective. But after that first hour it started adding percentage and was fully charged before three hours were up. My pick-up has a 390 cubic inch V-8 and is sometimes hard to start when cold; but I hooked up the jump starter, turned the key and it started right up, using only 7% of the charge in the jump starter. The jump starter seems to be of very good quality, has a very nice case to keep it in at a very good price. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Good quality jump box. I've had for over a year and it's used by myself, friends or family at minimum once a week from lawnmowers, to tractors, 4cycl to v8s and instantly starts them up.I do wish the cables were longer, also had a on off switch so you wouldn't have to disconnect thencablesnin order to cut it off
