After many hours of searching for the perfect size and durable quality rack and storage bag this product was well worth every penny. It fit all the luggage for a family of eight without it looking bulky or disorganized it was a seal tight fit we traveled thru many weather conditions during a 2000 +miles trip this product gets a two thumbs up and five stars from our family

It’s a well made great product for 2 bikes or hauling coolers or bringing compost to the compost etc., it is heavy and requires two people if your not really strong.

Heavy duty components that will hold up for years. Too heavy for 1 person to carry. Once assembled it was very useful. However, the assembly instructions were inadequate for a new user. Took too long to assemble it properly. Needed drawings illustratrating where and how various parts fit together and were secured AND MOUNTED on the vehicle. Instructions seemed to assume buyer knew all that beforehand. Quality product at a fair price.

Good product. Easy to put together. So far it has provided a strong and convenient way to pack extra luggage or outdoor gear for travel in order to provide more room inside the car. The bag that it comes with is also very sturdy and waterproof. The buckles are a little bit difficult to secure it onto the rack, but maybe with time I will figure out an easy way to attach it.

Do not buy this rack. We have been using it for less than 2 months and it broke while we were driving down the highway. It was properly installed and well under the advertised weight limit. We were lucky to catch it almost right away, before causing an accident or having our bikes destroyed. There was still damage caused to our bikes and the hitch on our trailer. Would love a response/refund from the seller as Amazon customer service was not able to help.

My partner is a severe over packer and he was convinced we needed to take an extra car to the beach until I bought this. My teenage son assembled it easily and with my help attached it to our Honda Pilot. I did a test run of packing inside and then packed it for our beach trip. When we left we had 5 beach chairs, a beach wagon, a 60qt ice chest, carry on size suitcase, 2 duffle bags and beach bag. I probably could have fit two more duffle bags but didn’t want to over fill it. Nothing budged the whole trip and we drove through rain with no issue. We did fold it up and down a few times during the week which was a huge advantage. It does take either one strong man to fold it up and pin or the help of your teen son if you’re a mom but I would not be intimidated to do that on my own. I’m sure we will use it on all future road trips to maximize passenger room in the vehicle.

We’ve had this basket for a few years and just finished using it on a 3500mi road trip. The rack held up well, save for a slight twisting of the rack after only carrying our full cooler on one side for most of its life.The bag is a must have. It has been waterproof for us and provides flexibility in where we pack our stuff.The anti-rattle works well but can loosen after numerous miles. Be sure to check it for tightness at every pit stop.
