Wow it works!
We just moved into a beautiful new home with ALL the creature comforts. Was expecting a blissful sleep in the new dead quiet wonderful master bedroom the first night - but no. Massive headache woke me up at 3am and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. This continued the 2nd, 3rd and 4th night even though I was dead tired from all the missed sleep. As (bad) luck would have it, new smart meters were installed days before we moved in. And our new wi-fi router was grilling me alive (along with all the other wifi routers near by). I guess I'm electrically sensitive since I always tense up when the wifi router is on in the house.Went surfing Amazon for EMF solutions and didn't want to pop down all the money for this, but with the return policy I gave it a shot out of total desperation. The first night I just installed the base unit with no plugs. I still had the headache, but i could feel some peripheral calmness that I didn't feel before and actually slept the night.Second night, I thought I'd try another plug just to see what it would do, and immediately remove it if i felt anything adverse. It was the "scalar" plug, and minutes after I put it in, the small calming effect of the base unit felt like it grew into a big protective bubble. I DID feel more grounded to earth much as i do with my frequent hikes in the woods. Big difference with no adverse affects, so I left it in and again slept through the night. Everything felt calmer BUT the headache was still there tho not with the same intensity. I put in plug #2 last night and felt a bit of energy that seemed like it might make it hard to sleep, so I removed it just in case. But just using insert 1, this has been worth every cent so far, and look forward to enjoying it as an electrical/EMF conditioner for years. Hoping to improve things even further with insert two.And more good news was to come. I called our local utility company BG&E to start what I figured was a years long fruitless fight to get rid of the smart meter. They told me it would be removed in 5 days since i requested it. Huh? Really? COOL!The BG&E guy came to the house a few days later to remove it and said the lights would go out for a few seconds once it's removed so not to worry. The second the lights went out I literally screamed. It felt lie a big balloon in my head just popped. All the pressure in my eyes, head, everything gone in an instant. Very weird and rather scary, but a happy ending for me at least. Will i return the Earthcalm now that the smart meter's gone? Not planning on it. If it continues to help me sleep and make the house a calmer environment - it'll be an outstanding bargain that I'll be grateful I was forced to look into!

Do not buy this product if you value your health
I want to start out by saying that as a person with a PhD in the sciences that I am totally embarrassed that I even bought this product. The truth of the matter is that even though there was no hard scientific proof to back up the claims that the manufacturer makes and the video about the product is very new age cheesy, I figured that at the very least the product could do no harm. I was completely wrong.Within days of installing this device, my daughter developed headaches so severe that she had to be kept home from school. I also developed a splitting headache. It was hard for me to believe that the device could really be responsible for such deleterious effects so I decided to try and find some sort of device to measure the effect that the device had on electromagnetic interference (EMI) levels in our home. I went online and bought a microsurge meter by a company called Stetzerizer. Their website was slightly more reputable than the Earth-Calm site but still not up to standards that would qualify as scientifically sound.Anyway, the instructions that came with the meter stated that safe levels of EMI should give a reading of 50 or less on the meter and that anything above this was undesirable. Before plugging in the Earth Calm device our baseline EMI levels as measured by the microsurge meter were high at 150. However, once we plugged in the Earth Calm device, these levels jumped to over 700- which is supposedly pretty bad. Not only that, the levels persisted for at least 10 minutes at over 700 even after I unplugged the device.I repeated the experiment several times to make sure it was not a fluke but each time I plugged in the Earth Calm device the readings jumped to over 700.Next I decided to see what effect other "dirty electricity" devices had on the EMI levels in our home. I tried devices made by both Stetzerizer and Greenwave and both types of devices dropped the levels down to around 60. I have had these devices installed around my home for several months now and no one has developed any headaches and I have not had to keep my daughter out of school. By the time I finished all my "experiments", the window for returning this item closed so I can't even get my money back for this dangerous AND very expensive device.I am a person who is very concerned about the long-term effects on health of all the various types of equipment that we all now commonly use. This equipment did not exist when I was growing up: no cell phones, no personal computers, no wifi- so we really don't know yet how all of this equipment might impact our health and especially the health of our children. It will be many years before we have the hard data to reach any kind of conclusions in this regard. In the meantime we are at the mercy of "fringe science". Some of the fringe science may pan out in the long term but there are many charlatans out there who will take advantage of those of us who are concerned but don't have any choice but to try what's out there to protect ourselves and hope that it doesn't cause more harm than good.My advice is that if you want to obtain a device to filter out bad levels of EMI in your home, at the very least obtain purchase some sort of device that can give you objective EMI measurements so you can determine the actual effect the device has.My advice is to steer clear of Earth Calm.

Save your money there are better, cheaper things you can do.
I'm pretty open minded to new age ideas about health, and I do believe that emf pollution is a health hazard, but after using the Earthcalm Scalar Home Protection System, purchased directly from their website, for nearly a year I have not noticed any difference in our house, tried it in several locations. After I got rid of our fluorescent lights (went all LED), DEC phones (went back to land lines), WIFI network (went back to hardwire) Cleaned out plugged electrical around our bed. We have noticed a significant difference in the house. Allergies better, sleeping better, fewer headaches and more... Save your money and just clean up your home environment or at least your sleeping areas, especially for your children. And grounding yourself whenever you are working on your computer is helpful in reducing body voltage. We still have cell phones, but we aren't glued to them and we use them on speaker most of the time.I also ran emf tests around the Earthcalm Scalar Home Protection System when it was plugged in, low magnetic, magnetic and electric and the TRIFIELD Meter Mod 100xe did not show any significant decrease or increase readings. As far as those people who report that the Earthcalm Scalar Home Protection System works for them more power to them. All I can say is that I'm not impressed.
