I've wanted a thin, tactical wallet for some time, but I was extremely unsure about buying. My concern is that I always carry cash, and I really didn't like the external money clip option on most wallets. I had also considered wallets that expand to hold more cards, but wasn't excited about rubber bands holding my cards in.I might not have bought this yet, but I live overseas and am in the US for a short time and doubt I could easily get it sent to me. So, I dove in, and so far I'm really happy.I sprung for the extra leather Groove Wallet Go because I had a few extra cards to carry, and I liked the elastic money band better than the clip.What I like: The basic Groove Wallet is just as seen in so many online video reviews. It's very solid, not heavy (some have said it is), and it fans the cards just fine. The fanning seemed to me a great feature before buying, but my personal feeling is that getting a card from the middle of the group isn't helped too much by fanning, since I can't grab the card. But, what it does allow is to grab the desired card and all cards behind it, pull them further out and then to use the thumb to quickly pull the top card off the stack. Sounds complicated, but it's a quick movement that works simply. All this to say that you could just as easily pull all of the cards out slightly and use your thumb to push the cards on the top of the stack out of the way to get to your card. But, all in all, the fanning is okay... just not a major buying factor.I really like the simplicity of quickly sliding the back of the wallet to get the cards out. Works seamlessly and doesn't require much effort. Additionally, there is a spring-loaded hinged piece on the side that keeps the cards in place when they are fanned. It also helps keep them in the wallet when not fanned. This works great for the most part. However, I did test this feature with quick jerks of the wallet to see if the cards could come out despite the hinged piece. At moderate speed, the cards stayed in the wallet, but with a bit more force I was able to get them to partially come out. I don't see this as a risk because I can't imagine a scenario in which this king of force would occur without me checking that things are still in the wallet.The leather Groove Wallet Go attachment can be added to the wallet or to the back of a phone. I put it on the wallet, so dont know how it would work on a phone. It attached easily to the wallet with a silicone-like, sticky surface. Seems to hold really well.Three non-embossed card fit in it snuggly. There seems to be a slight click when they go in that keeps them in place. They can be a little difficult to get out, but I find the surety that they will stay in more important than a few seconds spent getting them out.The money "clip" band was my biggest concern with this purchase. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the side facing the money has small silicone-like nubs that keep bills firmly in place. I've actually spent this week with a couple business cards on top of the bills, so the nubs aren't actually against the bills, but the bills are still staying put. This is helped by them being pressed against the leather, which provides enough friction. I'm still unsure about carrying my normal compliment of bills, but so far, so good with 6 bills. It is a bit of a pain getting bills under the band. You need three hands sometimes, but it works. The metal money clip of the basic wallet would be easier, but maybe less secure. In fact, when I bought online, I purposely bought the two wallets separately. There is an option to by them as a set. The set is $10 cheaper, which is made to look like you're getting a discount, but with the set, you don't get the metal money clip. I was unsure if I would be happy with the money band, so buying separately was $10 more and got me the metal clip that is currently not attached. I may test the metal clip later.After I began using the wallets, my brother showed me his wallet, which was from a chinese company. It was similar to the Vulkit fanning wallet, except his had a leather enclosure that could be flipped open. His cost him $20 and Mine was $100 more than that. And while the price is high for the Groove Life products, I'm comfortable knowing they will hold up for years (I hope).

A nice way to have a little extra storage. I’ve tested both on the groove life wallet and on my phone. Both hold very securely with no worries of it falling off. Being able to wipe off the surface and restick it to something is very handy. The money band was a little bit of a concern for me as it felt a little loose. But with 5 bills folded in half and then in half again, it’s had no problems holding the cash in place. While on the phone, it doesn’t add much weight and my phone is still comfortable in my hand.

Awesome addition to my wallet . I use it to hold business cards mostly but can hold both business cards and cash together. Sticks to the wallet very well and looks great!

I received a Groove Wallet for Christmas but I needed a little extra room for a couple of items i wanted to carry around as well. I seen the Wallet Go and thought this would be perfect, and it is. It is made out of very nice leather and you can tell it is very well made. The elastic money clip is very nice as well. I like it better than the metal one. I was concerned the money may seem lose in it but it is very secure and I am not concerned about it falling out.The coolest thing about this is the way it "sticks" to things. I thought it was going to be very sticky and more of a one time place type item. Boy was I wrong. When you feel the "sticky" part it doesn't feel like it would stick and stay to anything but it sticks to everything (in a good way) and doesnt come off. You almost have to pry it off of your phone and wallet. It literally suctions to the device you stick it on. Very cool technology that works very well.Overall, very pleased with this item. Only thing I wish is it blocked RFID.

Update: gave this a few days. Magnet and adhesive combo works amazing. If anything, it might be too strong. Changing rating to 5 stars. Don't be deceived by the initial "stickiness" compared to the Apple version. This thing is not going anywhere.Really high quality and great design. Doesn't stick to MagSafe like the Apple wallet. Relies heavily on a sticky adhesive backing. Wanted to badly to like it but didn't feel confident in the strength of the magnet to not fall off the back of the phone.

Really expensive for what you get? Wow look for a different option

This made my groove life wallet much more useable since it added the capability to carry 2 more cards that I use frequently as well as a good way to carry a little cash. I was skeptical about the micro suction but it really does work well and I can change it from my wallet to my phone and it sticks to both well. If you like the groove life wallet, this is a great accessory to complete it. For me, this was the difference in making it my daily wallet for everything.

I use it everyday. Perfect size and great quality. Only put in the amounts of cards it recommends. Otherwise it’ll get stuck. It also has kept me from keeping all he junk that ended up in my traditional wallet.
