Size incorrectly worded
Prowell R6800 Road Bike HelmetI bought the "Large", listed as 59cm - 65cm (when I bought it in June 2018), though it sounded an ambitiously wide range.I've had several makes of helmet before and I was under the impression that anything above61cm constitutes XL or Oversize and such sizes are usually hard to find. Most manufacturers make them, they just not so commonly stocked by retailers as the regular S, M and L sizes.Let me emphasize then that I accurately measured this "59cm - 65cm" Prowell helmet at just 62cm, and that'sat the largest point of the expanded-polystyrene itself, behind the soft pads.If like me your head measures 63cm there's no way in the world this helmet can ever fit on your bonce.I suggest it would fit on a 60cm head absolute maximum, when you allow for padding and strap-cradle.The stated size range is simply incorrect. Hopefully the wording will be rectified.Pity, it's a nice looking helmet, and seemingly well made, and with many adjustment points.Just be warned fellow "big-heads".For comparison my German ABUS Urban helmet which is labelled 61cm - 65cm actually measures 68cm at the expanded-polystyreneinner lower edge. In other words its fitting range allows for the padding and the strap system. As for the Prowell, I gave it straight to a friend with a 59cm head. I couldn't be bothered to return it for a refund.
