Bulky but I don't mind
As in other reviews these are a bit bulky for what they are but they are rated is indoor outdoor and I like the option of having the flop down plug cover. Sure, it won't keep out a bucket of water, but it's a nice addition. We're most don't have it as far as longevity time will tell but it seems to be a decent product, not soft. Rubber definitely hard plastic

Cords stay in.
I ended up buying 2 sets of these multi outlets. The cords stay plugged in, it takes a little effort to unplug to pull the cords out. There is nice little covers, for the outlets. I will buy more if needed.
