My 6 y/o needed an umbrella and when I got this in....mom win! For both him and me! Haven't had any issues with open/closing and it's compact enough to fit in the side pocket of his backpack on days it is raining or supposed to rain.

Poor product
Hard to open and close. Broke after a couple of uses. Cute design, disappointed.

Nice looking but poor quality
The design of the umbrella is nice. My 6 year old absolutely loved it when it first arrived. The reason this product is receiving one star is because we had this umbrella for a month and a half and only used it 3 times and the umbrella won’t stay open. The lock button refuses to engage so my son can’t keep the umbrella open making it useless in the rain. We would return it for a more durable option, if possible.

Very cool but HARD for kids to open
I got this for my kindergartner since it’s a kids umbrella… but we have to return it. It’s hard for ME to open all the way. There’s no auto-button, no auto-close. When I do push it open manually, it’s hard to get it to lock into position.Very cool print, but not kid friendly. 🙁
