Who Knew about "Educational Ice Cream"?
Who knew "educational ice cream" was a thing now? But it is, and it seems to work. This toy, for ages three and up, is a set of ten plastic popsicles on plastic sticks; they represent numbers zero through nine. The popsicles have a specific number of same-colored dots on one side; on the other side of the popsicle is a spelled out word representing that same number. The popsicles also have a same colored removable shell with the correct Arabic numeral on one side and various patterns on the other. The popsicles teach numbers by associating a visual grouping of dots with a number and a word for that number. The matching colors help younger children make the association (blue dots on one side of popsicle = blue word on other side of popsicle = blue shell with numeral).I also like the whimsy of the little "bites" taken out of some of the popsicles. One of my grandchildren loves to play with food toys and is just the right age for this set. He already has ice cream cone toys, so I think these popsicle toys will fit right in. The added benefit of course is that these toys really are "educational ice cream" and will teach him counting, numerals, and words for numbers up to nine.Although the set seems well made, I subtracted one star for its being a bit pricey.

Excellent Fun and VeryGood Learning Tool
Our grandchild took to this “toy” immediately. Maybe it was the colors. Maybe it was the look of an ice cream bar. Being able to remove the colored “cover” and reveal other points of interest…So, all of these details or the features of this “attractive toy” combine to create a teaching tool that’s easy to use and not begrudged by our “little student”. Counting. Spelling. Matching up the various aspects of each ice cream bar, well, it all combines to make it a very useful item for helping our grandchild to learn numbers, spelling, recognize colors, patterns… well, there are many ways to use this toy to help encourage learning. And it’s all VeryGood Fun!

Versatile Play
We love this new kit to play with. The colors are bright and cheerful and the size is very realistic. The colored part of the popcicle slides on and stays on while moving the popcicle around but easily pulls back off, great for kids who are always moving.I love that my kids have multiple ways of learning their numbers through this new tool/toy, they can count dots, see the numerical number as well as see the number written out as a word. All helpful. Having the plus, minus, divide and equal signs helps add to the longevity of this so kids can use it long after they leave the toddler stage and head into early grade levels. After you slide the numerical colored numbers off I love that the popcicles are very playful in showing different bites taken out of them. Adds to the whole sense of playful learning. These popcicles will certainly be used to not only learn our numbers but also pretend in our kitchen.

GREAT LEARNING ACTIVITY
I got the set of learning toys for my son who is 2 years old. It is an awesome set really good quality so when he throws them they don't break. The only issue I had with some of them was you can't get the cap off of some of the ice creams they're really hard to get off. But I like that the set can grow with him and eventually he can go from learning numbers to learning plus, minus, and times. overall I thought this was a great set and I would definitely recommend it.
