I had to replace my doc marten boots' shoe laces, and Im glad to have stumbled upon these. Super durable so far and I'm happy that 4 laces came with it! These will definitely last me a while.

I like what I received but I do not understand as to why the laces have stretch. So in my opinion you have to keep that in mind when you pull on the laces to snug and then tie. If you pull on the laces too strong you are pulling them on the stretch so if you over-pull, in time it will weaken the laces and they could snap without notice. Being aware of this, when I pull on the laces to snug before I tie, I do not exert pressure on the pull. I think that the laces would do a better job if they were ridged with no stretch. Let's see what happens down the road. I hope that the sender will be made aware of the comments made in this review.

One of the old, original laces lost a portion of its outer cover. The laces became useless. The one in the picture next to the boot was the surviving lace.Hurrah for the new ones here! I was able to order them with the lace length, whereas the boots had only laces that were way too long and were floppy because of that.It was so nice, too, to pick from many great colors.

Got these to dress up my motorcycle boots and they are perfect. Great quality laces too and have a spare!!
