Excellent quality at an affordable price
These shoes can handle heavy lifts with ease, and I totally recommend them.I've been using these for 5 months and can confirm the quality is superb, no signs of deformation or wear either at the soles or the top.I wasn't expecting this much to be honest, specially given how cheaper they are compared to, say, Nike Romaleos. They are true to size, and wide enough to accomodate my wider-than-average feet. The only downside you might find is, if you're like me, the lack of any sort of cushioning at the sole level takes some time getting used to because these aim more at giving you total connection with the floor, which comes at a cost. All in all, super recommended, will buy again if these (ever) wore out.

Perfect for wide/flat feet
I have a hard time finding shoes having a wide, flat foot with a narrow heel. These shoes feel great right out of the box! I ordered the blue shoes.Pros- very comfortable and stylish. Feels like slippomg your foot into a cloud. I felt more sturdy and stronger during squats, overhead press and dead lift. The velcro strap accross middle of shoes makes it easy to line up to the bar and contain the laces. I dont lace shoes, i like them easy to slip on and off so to be able to just velcro the strap over the laces is a time saver. Seems well made with full leather toe.Cons- runs slightly small. My right foot was 11 3/8 and left foot is 11 1/2. I wanted blue so i took risk of ordering 11.5 size shoes since there wasn't a size 12. I had to trim my toenails way back for them to not hurt my big toe, with my toes right at the end. Defintely would have to get a half size bigger if you plan to do crossfit or anything other than stationary lifts, or if you dont like your toes at the very end of the shoe and want a little space. Walking in them is fine to move around switching plates. I've only used once so durability is unkown. Seems like they are built to last though if you take care of them.In conclusion a great shoe for what its made for, lifting. Fits slightly smaller than expected so get half size bigger if you dont want your toes touching the end. No worries if your feet are wide or flat, they have plenty of room. Very happy I found a solid well fitting product right off the bat. Thanks Nordic Lifting!

Great shoes! Helps a lot to prevent lower back collapsing and pain.
Short summary: Love the shoes. Resolved lower back pain that developed in a long time lifter. I am a size 11 EEEE in new balance. Size 11.5 EE in Asics. These size 12s are a little narrow and long, but I only wear them in the squat rack and they work well.Longer:For decades I have just squatted in whatever shoes I wore to the gym.Worked my way up to 405x2 in new balances, but definitely noticed sloppiness in the foot due to the foam being squishy and unsupportive at those weights. It was a challenge to keep the weight on the heel since the heel was squishy and I would start to toe squat at depth. So I started squatting barefoot, since that should have been great for stability and force, but I started to notice that my lower back would round in the “butt wink” pattern at the bottom of the lift. As you can see in the photo I do no have mobility issues getting deep into the squat, but this lower back rounding was a new issue and caused serious lower back pain to the point where I had to take 3 months off squatting multiple times. It never occurred to me that going barefoot and keeping my heels down was causing my lower back rounding and pain, but once I identified that as the problem I sought these shoes out due to their high heel stack and wider toe box.I feel better than ever and would recommend these to everyone.I only wear them for squatting and still arrive and leave the gym wearing normal shoes to prevent unnecessary use.

Good show that could be better
For the money it is a sturdy and well made shoe. Wore them for 2 hours at the gym with no discomfort and forgot I had a wedged heel shoe on. Squats felt great and the sole grips the floor firmly so I can get that good external hip rotation in my stance. They will absolutely help a squatter keep their chest up more. The toe box is too small in my opinion. It's exactly the same width as my Chucks. It could be opened up a good 3/4's of an inch. also, the largest size is a 12 in mens. That's inexcusable frankly. I am normally a 12 1/2 - 13 so fortunately the 12 did with no discomfort although it is snug. But Nordic should offer a size at least up to 13 in US mens.

Great shoe, great customer service
I had a pair of Adidas squat shoes that my son and I have shared. He is off to college and needed his own pair, but the Adidas in our size was not available so I gave these a shot. When they arrived I was little disappointed because the liner had been misapplied in one of the shoes and this made it somewhat uncomfortable in the toe and heel. I contacted the co. and they, after seeing a picture of the shoe, sent me a new pair directly--and told me to keep the one I already had. The new pair is totally fine. My son and I agree that they are a little better than the Adidas (which we both liked). The sole is a bit firmer and seems to give a little more stability in the heavier lifts that he does (he lifts much heavier than I so I am relaying primarily his impressions). He also likes the uppers that he thinks are also a bit stiffer and therefore superior. Also, we got the bright blue and they look cool. He opted to take these with him to college, and I am still happy with the Adidas. We wear size 12. I'd say these are just a tad shorter in length vs the Adidas, which fit me like a glove. But when I tried them, I kind of liked the snugger fit and I agree with my son that they just give you a more sound foundation vs the pair he left me with.

The very best workout shoe.
What a great workout shoe. Made a big difference in the squat & leg press, especially when your leg pressing over 1000 Lbs pounds, in which I did for clean 10 reps. Could not handle or do that weight if I had ordinary gym shoes on or wearing a sneaker. This workout shoe prevented my foot and ankle to bow or to slant outwards. I want to buy another pair they are that comfortable and strong in support.
