The content is interesting, though much of it disagrees with modern scholarship. It makes the reader wonder whether modern authors are too much influenced by each other.The scanning is almost unreadable. After buying this I did a google search and found a pdf version on the internet archive that was free and much better. The original pages were small enough that the pdf is quite readable even on my small kindle.

Ludus Latrunculorum is part of the title, but the book has hardly anything written about the game. I purchased this book because I wanted to know more about this game. Do not buy this book. It only has one star because I had to to submit this review.
