I do a lot of embroidering and hand stitching where I need to get into tiny spaces to snip a thread or two, and these give me much greater control than my traditional tiny sewing scissors. I expect they'll be much easier to sharpen too. They look too be a good carbon steel, have a nice solid weight to them, and spring back nicely. Their not great for cutting more than snip or two of cloth, but for cutting threads and that snip or two of cloth perfectly, they can't be beat.

I keep snips at my machine for snipping threads. These are quite nice. They feel balanced and they cut clean. They just feel good in my hand. I bought two; one for my machine table and one for my travel bag that I take to retreats. Excellent product, great price, and a very good value for the money.
