Dec 2020: Very satisfied with this steamer. I have been using it for a few weeks now. It doesn't spit, heats up quickly, and works better than other steamers that I have purchased in the "under $20" price range. It is easy to see the water level through the window. The tank is a little smaller than some steamers but it heats up quickly. I can steam up to two lightly wrinkled garments on one tank. A picture is included to show its outstanding performance on a heavily wrinkled cotton shirt. The only con is that the head is difficult to remove to refill it.Aug 2021 Update: It is great for travel. I also use it nearly every day. It still doesn't spit, heats quickly, and I have been satisfied with the performance for nine months. The heating element is now acting up and I have to shut it off for a minute to let it cool down. It has lasted longer than other steamers I have tried and I feel that I got my money's worth out of it. I will definitely purchase another.

It’s very small but it works well and has some spitting if you don’t keep it upright. Most baffling thing was how to open it it’s no instructions you just have to twist the top part off! I was so frustrated until I read somebody’s review. But yeah it works fine for small jobs, and works on heavier fabrics if you’re patient

Fast startup, easy to use, suitcase sized. Long cord! Mine was used but works just fine so far. Also good for hot water while traveling if you’re a tea fan.

This little unit heats up fast and puts out a good amount of steam. The steam is constant until you turn it off so be ready to steam whatever it is you're gonna steam. I did have write in and ask how to fill the water tank. You just turn the top part in the direction of the arrow but you have to use some strength. At first I though I might break it so that's why I wrote in to get more info. Good buy.

Update:I finally was able to open the tank and use the steamer..baby, this little thing is awesome. I used it on my hair and it softened my hair, was hot, but not burning hot. I used one full tank of water & the steam billowed out just like on the box. I will definitely be using this weekly on washday. This trumps my Q-Redew in steam output! My hair is short, so I just moved it over my hair until I steamed all of it and the water was finished.! received the item in good time, it was packaged well and in very new condition. I desperately want to use it but I am unable to open the tank to add water. I have tried following the directions supplied in one of the questions (stabilize, hold the handle and turn counter clockwise) and the top will not budge. I really want to use the product, but if I can't open it to add water, I can't use it. I'll keep trying. Manufacturer, please add instructions regarding opening the tank top.

It does leak spit out water so be careful and watch water level

Just got this item delivered a few minutes ago. Within seconds I had it out of the box and filled it with water to begin steaming. It took around a minute (maybe even less) to be ready to steam. Obviously, be very careful with any steamer because the steam is extremely hot. Don't want to burn yourself. Overall, this was a great buy and I am really really impressed with how sturdy and secure this device seems. Definitely heavy duty for its size and the end results of steaming some shirts are equally as impressive!

This product didn’t work at all. I tried warm water at first and then boiled water. I tried multiple output sockets but nothing. Didn’t give off any steam and a major waste of time. I ended up just using boiled water in a spray bottle to get out the wrinkles of a dress that I need in a few days.

Absolutely disappointed by the purposely misleading product! They claim it’s “Portable” which sure it is.. but it’s still WIRED! Bought it for my car and I can’t really get a cord to run 50m away to steam my car... so I say it’s not portable.. and especially not for travel... you’d have to be in your home or a hotel to even use it which in my books doesn’t qualify for “portable”... It’s pretty stationary when you have to plug it in.The quality ‘feels’ nice but the product is terrible! Even at above half capacity The water spews out onto whatever your steaming... there is no sunset to prevent this built in, just basic mechanics..The steam output is weak, I have to get right up to the fabric to even gets some heat and moist in it.. by the time I do half a pillow the water runs out.. and hey! Not like you can just easily walk it to a sink and refill... you have to unplug it and then plug it back in and power on all over again..Good luck even doing a couple shirts without running around. (Yes a cup of water helps but besides the point).Won’t be returning however cause I do need it and don’t want to go through the hassle.

Unfortunately this is very difficult to use in addition it’s leaking whilst in operation rendering it quite useless.I’m so disappointed it took me months to choose this one. It’s quite dangerous in actual fact. I switched off and on to see if it was me as well as making sure I put the unit together properly. It still leaks and obviously it’s difficult to test it out if it’s leaking boiling water.Whilst trying the water doesn’t last long either.

This little steamer works so well! It is small and doesn't have a very large tank so you can't do a large amount, but it's perfect for dress clothes on the go. It takes about 3 minutes to heat up so it doesn't even matter that the tank is small. I used it on my very wrinkly curtains and they came out perfect (see photo). Great size for travel and for storage. Fantastic product for such a great value!
