well made
Collar appears to be well made / really sturdy and the leather is really good quality. It was slightly larger than I expected it to be so maybe don't size up much (my dog has a 19.5" neck so I bought a 22" collar. I have it on the smallest hole and its still a bit loose)

Light weight and also great looking, especially when you have a heavy fur boy. This collar won’t tangle the fur around the neck, the leather quality is also very good.

Not All Hardware is Solid Brass
I’ve used the chrome hardware finish version for years on my dogs, but decided to change it up by getting new brass tags and wanted a matching hardware on the collar. I bought these but after only a few weeks, the brass finish faded on the D-ring that holds the tag/leash clip.I like it because it’s long lasting, but the product description is misleading. Not all of the hardware is solid brass.

Corded Leather
It lets them pull and stretch, still choke. But not a chain. Sometimes you need to tap a middle hole. Had on 2 dogs English bulldog, Bullmastiff, now a Rottweiler. It works if you do. But yeah great collar!

This collar broke before 5 months
Normally don't review, but this collar could be a danger to your dog because the construction of the collar isn't strong enough where the D-ring is attached. Today my dog's collar broke after less than 5 full months of use, and he was loose and on the run. Thank goodness this story has a HAPPY ENDING. I DO NOT recommend this collar.

Nice leather and brass buckles.
This was very nice quality. Love the brass buckles and ring.My only issue is that this only fit both my dogs on the last hole. Both my dogs necks measured 17".My dogs love that these don't disturb the fur on their neck and are comfortable.

Best collar I've had
If I must wear a collar them this one is it.It doesn't bother my neck.I don't have an overwhelming need to scratch it.It doesn't mat my beautiful curls around my neck.It has a nice sturdy buckle.It's heavy duty well made and nice rolled leather.And my mom got it in a dark color so it doesn't even look like I'm wearing a collar!As I continue to grow I hope my mom gets me another one of these!

False and misleading description.
The description states:"Solid brass hardware provides a polished, refined style."If the hardware is solid brass, then, why does a magnet stick to the D-Ring?Solid brass contains no iron and will not attract a magnet.The D-Ring is the piece that will get the wear from attaching it to the fastener on the lead/leash. The brass plating is going to wear off in a heartbeat.Who are they trying to fool? Not I!Also, the product description doesn't indicate a color. In the photo, the collar appears black. It is not...iis a very dark brown.'Totally disappointed with this over-priced and over-rated lousy collar.I'm going to repair the quality collar I purchased from this company many, many years ago.It's black and all the hardware IS actually solid brass.

Nice collar.
Nice, solid collar for my 90lb Mastiff. Neck size 17 inches, bought the 20 inch x 3/4inch length. Fits well, room to tighten or loosen.

Great Collar
Perfect collar. We had to punch another hole (I ordered too big) but it's perfect. Dog's hair doesn't mat under it.
