Bought as "cheap temporary solution"...... Keeping as permanent!
Truth be told, I bought this as an "affordable holdover" until I could afford another AI, but now that I have it, I am not worried AT ALL about getting another AI.I own some Kessill A360Ws and an AI HD Prime. No, this light doesnt have a nice spectral controller, Wi-Fi, or any ither programming.........but throw in a $16 ramp timer, and youre getting a "Poor Mans Kessil" for a FRACTION of the price.Yeah, the case is a little cheap, plasticky feeling, but from a distance doesnt look bad at all. Yeah, the buttons can be a little awkward. But the mount, which was another 70 on my AI, and 98 each on my Kessils, works just fine on rimmed (within reason) or rimless and COMES WITH IT! So far, coral growth and coloration is damn near on par with my "big lights", and for what I paid for this light, I have NO complaints!I WILL be buying more of these if/when I set up my frag tanks. The value cant be beat from my experience.......if youre in the market for an LED but can't/wont spend big money, this is your light.

Nice light.
I bought these to replace the LED light bar that came with my tank. I’m now running two of these on a 36”x18”x18” Aquatop Recife 48. So far I’m loving it. The picture doesn’t do it justice. All the corals and fish look amazing under these lights. I’ll do an update a few months down the road to see how it holds up and the effects on coral growth. My initial impression is nice coloration and great price.

Affordable and Powerful
I've had a number of tanks so of course, I've owned a number of lamps. With the large amount of LED's out there, EXPENSIVE LED's, one would think that a $50 lamp would be garbage but with these lamps, nothing could be further from the truth!!!! The two images I submitted don't show the lamps at full power. I have a few tanks still but all of them are nano's and pico's. I purchased two of these lamps and put one on my 10 gallon cube and the other on my 5. The 10 gallon is in the basement and it lights up the entire basement if turned all the way up. The 5 gallon I keep low powered (I press the + button twice and leave it). As long as I stay on top of weekly water changes, things have thrived VERY well...better than any other setup I've had. There's very little to long for with these lights with the exception of maybe being able to control it via bluetooth but I guess if that were possible, these lights wouldn't be as affordable as they are.

Fantastic light
A few things about this lightMy fish loved the light it brings to the tank my star Polly opens almost immediately great right and yes it’s for a Nono tank but it is on my 125 and the levels are so spot on the picture does not do justice as my diamond goby is more active with the light and is messing the water all up but that will settle downThe badPlastic screws for the bracketAnd it is really designed for rimless tanks or I guess the small tanks trim is not so thickOver all I will post a new pic as it works for a month to see the growth of corals

Light flickers on and off ***Updated***
The device gives off ample lighting, however I will have to return it because when it is turned on it starts to flicker, then shut off and on the blue lighting until I move it enough on the stand and it stays on.***UPDATE****The company kindly sent me another light, and this light works very well. Provides very good lighting for my corals.

Talk about value
I'm using this in my frag tank and I'm even considering using a few of these in a new display tank I will be setting up. Build quality looks great from the outside. I don't know how long these will last but considering the LED's are Cree I don't think this will be an issue. At $60, this is insane value.

Excellent price, beautiful light
This light has excellent shimmer and the controls are light touch and easy to use. I have it on a 10 gallon Waterbox cube. I honestly don't know what the difference is between this brand name and the other one for the same price with a couple hundred more reviews, except I didnt want to wait a week for the other to be in stock. They look and function exactly the same to me. It does have plastic screws, but they assemble easily and are sturdy so it was not a problem. If I had to nit pick one thing it would be that I can hear the fan when it kicks on. It makes a sound similar to a dvd starting to spin when you first pop the disc in, but I forgot about it eventually and now I barely notice it.

Love this light.
For the price you cannot beat this little light. I have a much larger aquarium and wanted to setup a nano tank for a room in my house. This currently sits on top of a 12 gal nano cube dx. I placed a hammer coral in the tank from my other larger tank and it opened up with no issues and looks great. Light gives a nice shimmer to the water. I would recommend LPS and softies with this light.
