I didn't expect this high quality from the product photo. The beech wood is clear, sanded and varnished beautifully. It came with all its parts and the two tools necessary to put it together. The assembly diagram was easy to understand. The four locking casters each lock independently and enable the user to roll it into position using the handle. There is a little wiggle on the handling (mostly because of the give on the vertical members which don't have cross-bracing) especially if you don't tighten the bolts down all the way. The design would allow you to disassemble it in the future if you change your mind or move but you probably won't want to since this involves a a bit of work.The part I think is missing is a floor shelf which isn't necessary if you only want to store items larger than 20" on at least one dimension. (This applies to the largest size I ordered--your size may differ). I made a floor piece out of two layers of corrugated cardboard and even notched it to accommodate the vertical bars so the shelf wouldn't wiggle out of position. You barely see this when the cart is loaded.This cart is sturdy enough for lighter loads. I wouldn't use it for heavy items. Right now I'm mostly using it to store empty picture frames. Other good uses include storing stretched canvas, sketch boards, lightweight folders and portfolios, framed art, oversize drawing pads, silkscreen or silk painting frames and perhaps even lightweight equipment of the right dimensions such as a tapestry frame. You can also transport framed or unframed work from one location to another on the same premises or use it as a drying rack for work in progress.A great purchase for an art classroom or home studio.

In the middle size, this is useful storage for canvases, folios, drawing boards and drawing pads. The pieces need to be around 13in wide - or you could create cardboard folios from your Amazon boxes if you have smaller things to add. The wheels on the rack are good feature. You can keep the rack out of the way and pull it out as needed. There’s a handle on one end for moving the rack around. If needed you can lock the casters on the rack. The rack is very stable.There are quite a few screws to assemble all the uprights for separating artwork. A ratcheting or electric screwdriver helps! But all the tools are included if you just want to put things together while listening to a podcast or watching TV. Hardware is all organized; instructions and illustrations are clear.The wood has a light clear finish. All the pieces were smooth, hardware for the screws and casters were installed neatly. All in all this is quite a nice rack for the purpose.

To open with - OUCH - 100 bucks is high priced, but this one is worth it. This one is quite impressive for being built of pine, but - all pine isn't equal. The #1 plus for this unit is its size - I have 2 others that are beech wood, but those 2 together are pretty much equal to this one. Any artist needs at least one of these, minimum of 1 if overly prolific. This is pretty easy to assemble, just be cautious of over-tightening and cross-threading fasteners.

Item extremely smallNot worth the price

this thing can hold canvasses over 4 feet wide or tall. It takes a lot of floor space. I should have checked the dimensions before ordering because most of my stuff is less than 2 feet. The wood is high quality and assembly easy. Perfect for big art.

Very easy to put together and it's sturdy. It holds quite a large amount of canvas art and posters. I bought this to help store all of my art and posters that are not hanging on the walls yet. The instructions are detailed and easy to read.
