10 Lb. Premium 2nd Cut Timothy Hay with Clover, Bunny, and Small Animal Pet HAY-in-A-Box

Spoke with Farmer Dave's directly before trying their hay, since another brand sold by Amazon was substandard a couple of times. Farmer Dave's rep Teresa said they were all out of the "with clover" option I wanted to try, but said Amazon still had some available. So, for a hefty price (shipping 1/2 as much as the price of the item), I thought I would try it at least once. Never again, Farmer Dave. The hay arrived in a flimsy, generic box, packed in with hard, crusty, brown layers on top and bottom. MANY sharp stems to poke small animals in the eye and NOT received well by my critters at all. Will sort each small batch as I mix it with some the end of another type hay I had, and try to salvage my investment somewhat. Maybe it's because we're into March only, and the hay is really old, sitting in Amazon's warehouse. If so, it should have been pulled and discarded. Will go back to Oxbow, still head and shoulders over others I've tried (and it's clean!).

Our Rabbit loves this hay. When we run out and have to get a store brand hay he is not happy. I have always had a good experience buying this Hay.

This hay has spoiled my bunnies and they will not go back to Petco hay... I unfortunately ran out. And let’s just say I think my bunnies went on strike. I’m gonna need a bigger box!
