Bought this for my smoothies and baked goods. Very good chocolatey flavor and blends well into smoothies. Baked goods have a nice rich dark chocolate flavor without the bitterness. There's plenty cacao powder in this bag so it will last quite awhile. Will be buying this again!

I use ground cacao for drinking. About 2 TBS per cup of water. Plain, just cacao and water. The taste and smooth texture were outstanding. When I mixed the cacao with a little water to make the initial slurry, the chocolate fragrance rose up like with no cacao I've had before. 2 TBS each of cacao and water. Mix with a small wire whisk for a couple minutes until smooth--you will know. Then add water a little at a time, whisking gently as you go. About a cup in total. Wonderful.

The taste is a little strong so should maybe use less than called for in recipe. Do a taste test first, though. Even though it has a strong flavor, I like it. Not your Hershey cocoa.

I think cacao is healthier than cocoa. At first I thought this powder looked too fine, but now I like that it is FINELY textured into the water & milk. Slight scent adds the feature. Yummy. The price is higher than I’m used to for cocoa… but it’s better than I’m used to… value 👍
