The unit fell off the chains because the bearing was not welded in alignment with the other components.the bearing was off by 15 degreese of rest of the parts.I would never purchase a product from JILIN ZEDA TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD ever again.

Bends easy
Seems solid and sturdy enough. As soon as I started the motor the spring stretched and the tensioner bent in 3 different places. Returned.

It does the job but there are better options out there
This made my chain roll so much better that the fixed tensioner. The only complaint I had was that the included spring was a bit on the small weak side. I had to get a stiffer one at my local hardware store but I still recommend this anyone that builds a gas bike. It is functional and cheaper than the engine mount tensioners you can get on ebay.

Highly recommend for motorized bike kit
This makes a huge difference in the chain tension on my bike. It keeps it tight, but if it needs to pull a little slavk, it can. I had to get a shorter and stronger spring for it to work, so that takes off 1 star.

Bearing poorly welded
The center bearing is welded very very poorly two little drops that's it, it broke first ride.
