Excellent book
I really like this book. I am a biologist and this book gives me strong knowledges in the biochemistry of the cell.

Versatile as a Biochem or P-chem book...in paperback unfortunately
Rich in color figures, graphs, and equations. This book is sitting somewhere in the advanced undergrad/graduate level and covers most of the topics you'd expect in a physical chemistry course and does so in a quantitative way. It is not as rigorous as it could be, so I think the more preparation you have in biochemistry and physics going into this book, the better you'll be able to fill in some of the gaps.I really want to give this book 5 stars but the paperback cover...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! It would be a perfect 5 star rating if not for that.

2.5 stars
I give it a 2.5 starts due to the damaged corner of the book.

Strong Conceptually, Somewhat Equation-Heavy
I used this text in my physical chemistry class, and it was an excellent supplement to the lectures! The figures and text were very helpful in explaining core ideas, however there are sections that are quite equation dense and these can be difficult to follow. Overall, would recommend!

Good book, but
It is a good book. However, the search function is not working in my kindle Fire tablet, although it is working in my kindle app for PC. Maybe it could have 5 stars if this was working.

Perfect.
Brand new book with no abrasion on the cover. Was packaged nicely—it is a soft cover which easily bends and wears down during shipping and daily handling but had no creases.

Undergraduates book but heavy
Amazing book but more for the undergraduate as has maths that might frighten some and the chemistry is A level. However the book does explain well even for those without the knowledge. My only complaint is the book is too heavy for me, should have checked the dimensions first.Still the book is astonishingly good and diagrams amazing. I have now bought a dummies guide and then will come back to this later and may need to get one on chemistry as well as struggling with double covalent bonds and Lewis diagrams. It does explain and we’ll but i could still do with a bit of pre reading up on chemistry. Still the book is really exceptional and if you are an undergraduate I would strongly recommend it and you won’t struggle too much as it does take it step by step and you will have access to a tutor and lectures.

Ok for the basics, but a bit behind the times.
