This was my teenage sons FAVORITE Christmas present. VERY fast and great for teen boys. Highly recommend!!!

Update 9/26/24: The seller reached out and offered a replacement free of charge. The second car operates as expected. It's not a fast as our other RC drift cars, but that actually makes it easier to control. This would make an excellent first RC drift car to learn on.Original review: It comes with the rubber tires installed instead of the drift tires. On the first car I received, one of the nuts arrived frozen and even with real tools I'm unable to get it off. The spindle is spinning with the nut. Very frustrating and disappointing. It's too fast indoors with the rubber tires. It's a solid experience out in the street, but we got it for the drift feature.

Decent for the price.

Cheap controller and receiver and steering servo. There’s no resistance in the steering servo brought back by a cheap spring.

The media could not be loaded. Loud but clean drifts and goes 23mph recommend for first timer had for 2 days [my steering broke 1 day after this] not recommended was fun do

The body is the only good thing about this car, and it looks really nice.The advertisement is somewhat misleading, claiming "with proportional throttle and steering control function" which makes it sound like both steering and throttle are proportional. They're not. Only throttle is proportional. Turning left/right is just an on or off switch, there's no nuance, just all or nothing. I've owned RC cars like that before, and they work, but it takes a lot to get used to, and it's hard to drive with any kind of precision.The speed controller almost seems like it might have a brake function when you go from forward to reverse, but it only wants to work some of the time, and the rest of the time it just goes right to reverse, which isn't great for the drivetrain.All the parts seem very proprietary, and non-serviceable. You might be able to find replacements, but probably not upgrades.I originally bought this for the body, since I love the e30, and I'm content having it as a shelf queen rather than an actual useable RC car. If you want an actual RC car, look elsewhere.

This Rc car is a blast and has no issues. I’ve had mine for a year or two and it still works like new. This m3 design is really durable when you crash it in your house. The only downside to this car is that it’s kind of loud for an RC car but that could be because it’s wicked fast.
