Great sound and noise cancelling.
The sound quality and noise cancelling are excellent. There is quite a bit of wind noise when using on a fast moving bicycle however that would be hard to get away from without your entire ear being covered with a full headphone. Its a little difficult regarding connection as you sometimes have to place the buds in the case to get them to reconnect if you pull them out. Not a huge issue for me as I carry the case with me and place them in the case for protection. Initially bought a JBL product and though the sound was great and they were much less expensive than the bose, the noise cancellation was not good to the point I would have to max out the volume on my bike to hear them.

Fantastic Sound!
These ear buds are fantastic! I can't believe the rich sound. There are three settings for background noises. One settings is so good my wife has to touch me to get my attention. You'll need to get the Bose QEC app from your app store. There isn't much to the instructions, but enough to get you started. The battery life depends on the settings. They fit nicely in my ears without irritation. Charging seems fast enough. More expensive than some, but worth it for the rich dound.

One Major Design Flaw to Consider
First, I want to say the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2024 are easily the most comfortable I’ve ever had. The sound is great (not a audiophile here, so strictly an objective opinion) And the noise cancellation is, far and away, better than expected. All this is why I’ve tried everything to work through a major design flaw. All the reviews praise these buds, only mentioning (almost as an aside) that there are connection issues. Also, many purchaser reviews play down this problem – only commenting about one side or the other temporarily losing connection (an occasional glitch with many brands)What they’re missing is that all of these reviews seem to be using the buds while engaged in some activity (eg: gym, running, walking, etc). When sedentary (ie: motionless, lying down or reclining) the Bose Buds will consistently lose their connection. I’ve even tried to disable in-ear detection (the option to do so not offered by Bose). Using tape over the in-ear sensor, I’ve found that the buds still seem to require some motion to “stay alive”.I am currently awaiting delivery of my 3rd replacement earbuds and am really hoping that at some point Bose will try to do something about this in a future firmware update.-- Update --The following (in brackets) I submitted to Bose today to try to solve the issue I was having<< I am now on my 4th pair of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (gen 2) 2024. This latest replacement has proven to be the best functioning so far. The primary problem, however, still persists. In doing some testing I believe a possible a clue to the cause of my most nagging issue has shown up. My primary use of the earbuds is for meditation (ie: while wearing them my head is almost entirely motionless). It appears that the buds are designed to detect movement and that a lack of motion causes one or both of the buds disconnect periodically.Testing this hypothesis during a few listening sessions, I made a point of moving my head every 10 minutes. By doing so, I was able to listen without interruption through several tests (one of then for an hour & 45 minutes). Of course, having to concentrate on moving my head is no acceptable solution. >>- - After reviewing my query, I was informed that this is, indeed part of their design and nothing can be done. The fact that it’s a problem that many have mentioned in You-tube reviews and online comments was not addressed. My conclusion is that Bose is now a company trading on its past reputation and should be avoided. Thus - for obvious reasons - I've reduced my rating to 1 star (zero is not an option here)

Amazing sound-no issues, very easy to use!
These were replacing Samsund buds 3-that were horrible. I have been reading review of earbuds for a few months and almost didn't buy these...but I am so glad that I did! I'm not a sound connoisseur... I just know what sounds good to me. The sound with these is amazing! I have had no issues with disconnecting or the other issues that some reviews complained about. The fit is super comfortable. They were very easy to set up-literally right out of the box.

Complicated earbuds, great once sorted, app is terrible
These earbuds are complicated. I keep hoping I'll sort how to use them but after a few weeks, they're still hard to use:PROS-The Silence feature is fabulousCONS-They fall out of my ears too frequently-When I fiddle with the earbuds to make sure they stay in, I'm barraged with the off, silence, aware options. This is a feature but it's also distracting.-The app is incredibly slow. It takes 3 minutes for the app to "connect your device" even though I'd already been listening to a podcast and obviously it's already been connected.-After about 2 hours, my ears start to ache from the poor fit of the earbuds. By comparison, my over-the-ear Bose headphones hurt the outer ears, perhaps more like after 3 hours.CAVEATI have a medical issue that causes painful "sound flooding." That's why speed is crucial for my needs. I need to be able to un-silence when someone talks to me, and silence again when that's done. The overly complicated options leave me exasperated and then I give up and pull them out of my ears. This is a pretty constant problem and it takes a toll on my nervous system. (I have ME/CFS - most people don't understand the extreme sound issues.)I'm only taking off one star because for normal people, the slowness etc is probably not so problematic. The Silence feature, again, works really well. And I can use these at places where wearing my over-the-ear headphones might attract unwanted attention.

They ROCK!
I don’t give a lot of five stars but these are totally worth it. I was really leery of getting these. I’ve ups AirPods for years and years. These were less expensive and I was worried. But the noise cancellation is better, and the rest of the features are just as good. Three sizes of tips and bands make it feel even better than the AirPods did. Win-win for me.
