I planted a tiny herb forest at my duplex.

The oregano, lavender and mints are harder to grow, but with enough care is possible.I had a great experience with both the 30 set and 15, while some seeds are harder to grow, they all will germinate.I ended up with two lavender plants out of all the seeds, and I’m attempting oregano for the third time in my grow trays, first time did not sprout, second did but died from transplant. This time I have a few already sprouting after three days and I’m sure I will end up with many oregano plants. It’s my fault, not the seeds. And lavender is 100% a huge pain in the butt, ask anyone. They just need a lot of care when they start and I was also sprouting tomato’s and cucumbers too.I would suggest, from my own experience over many years growing plants from seed, all the herbs grow best in grow trays with potting soil or organic potting soil. I won't use any germination tray with a dirt disc or a premade mix. I use either miracle grow potting soil or back to the roots in a germination tray. Miracle grow gives bigger, stronger seedlings, while back to the roots will make smaller plants with bigger root systems. No major difference overall once fully grown. So, a seed tray with decent soil will help the germination rate of all these herbs darn near 100%. But again, a few types such as oregano, lavender and mints need a little extra tlc, but overall, I’ll buy it again and again simply because they are fun to grow and look beautiful in my backyard. Also delicious..

Perfect Starter Set for My Son’s First AeroGarden!

I got the HOME GROWN 15 Culinary Herb Seeds pack as a gift for my son’s first AeroGarden, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The variety is fantastic—everything from basil and parsley to dill and cilantro—so he had a great time experimenting with different herbs. The seeds sprouted quickly, and the germination rate was impressive. It made his first indoor gardening experience fun, educational, and really rewarding. He’s now hooked on growing his own herbs, and we’ve even started using them in our meals! This set is a wonderful gift for beginners and budding green thumbs. Highly recommend for anyone starting out with an AeroGarden or indoor herb garden!

Seeds will grow

The variety of the seeds was perfect. I planted most in May and the all grew. Good quality seeds for the price. This was a great buy

Sacred White Sage now growing for later use

Happy to find White Sage seeds. Some did not sprout, as expected, but those that did are still tiny plants in size. Looking forward to watching them grow, because in these times. the need for use, is greater than we’ve ever expected.

Be cautious

I am an experienced grower. 3rd generation farmer own 15 greenhouses make 1/3 of income from grown products. I purchased two of these packet bundles and planted 9 out of the 15 options from both of the packets. I did this because my wife was grumpy and complaining about an herb garden. I was kinda drunk and on my phone. I didn’t want to buy lots of seeds from my distributor. So of course I solved it with Amazon over my regular distributor. Of those planted I had 5 sprout to an acceptable level. 5 out of 9. I used good soil light and watering procedures. All in one of our greenhouses tied into our electronic watering system with great light and warmth. When things like basil lavender mint and scallions don’t grow it is likely they are old stock. I could throw scallion seeds on my compost pile and good seeds will grow with no help. I have to spray to keep mint out of my lawn as it is such a pest. I contacted the supplier about the fact that both of the sets of herbs would not grow. The customer rep was nice but asked many questions about soil light water etc. I thought this was annoying but reasonable as seeds are more than just plant and boom magic. However I just got their resolution. the resolution was to send me half the seeds that I planted. Half the seeds that did not grow plus other seeds I didn’t plant. I’m already overpaying by 2-3 x distribution rates. I sent them a review to help as I know old seed will cause sig issues and as updating stock is much less expensive than lots of bad reviews. They just sent me a new 15 seed package. They did this instead of actually replacing both sets of old stock.and answering my question. Seems like a boiler plate answer to solving a genuine problem. I am frustrated . I hate to give a 1 star review but in this case it seems appropriate

Great product. I returned it, but should not have.

I unfortunately returned the product, most of the seedlings survived. I should’ve given it more time. But I have been burned by other products that did not germinate. So I was quick to return. Should not have done that. Great product.

Per instructions, start sowing the seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost.

I received the package, and the packaging is not the same as online.First, it just says "Lavender", not English Lavender. The online instructions (you need to scan a code on the package) says they are English Munstead Lavender.I ordered a package of 1500 seeds. It doesn't say how many are included on the package. There are probably less than a teaspoon of seeds. I'm not going to try to count them, they are tiny, like flea size. The germination time is 14-60 days; bloom time is another two to four weeks. I don't know if it'll be past the blooming season by then. And while I appreciate the instructions that can be scanned, they recommend a process that can take 4-6 weeks of keeping them in a damp paper towel in the refrigerator before the germination time. The online instructions say to start sowing the seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost.Hope the seeds last over the summer and winter. If I follow the instructions, I am much too late to grow them this year (it’s the second week of June). The last frost in central NC was months ago. I may need to wait 8-9 months before I can have a chance of growing them.
