May work for your child….
I tried this product for my autistic five-year-old to help with tippy toe walking. Unfortunately for us it did not work us as she was not able to keep it on due to sensory issues. I still recommend for you to try as the product is made very well.

Not what I expected
There’s a metal in the socks that doesn’t align to my toddlers food as it shows in the diagram. I purchased a shoe board that goes inside my toddlers shoes instead. It prevents him from going on his tippy toes

Very uncomfortable
This review is for the following item: BraceAbility Toe Walking Socks (Pair) - Pediatric Kids Foot Brace for Comfortable Tip Toe Walking Prevention and Correction for Children and Toddlers, Cerebral Palsy Equipment, ADHD Support (L - Beige)I ordered these in the size large as the size chart said these will fit up to a women's size 7. Since I find I do not walk correctly and do tend to balance more on my toes than on my entire foot, I thought these might just do the trick to teach me to walk correctly. They don't because they are very uncomfortable. The little bar that is in the toe of the sock is odd to me. When I walk on my toes, it is uncomfortable, which is what I believe is supposed to happen. When I don't walk on my toes, it is still uncomfortable, even more so than when I was walking on my toes.I don't know if that is because I am right at the limit of what size these socks will work on. I am definitely a size 7. But these do nothing for me other than hurt my feet no matter how I walk.I wouldn't purchase these again for myself. Do they work for a child? I don't know. I am sorry to say you will have to try these out for yourself because I can be of no help for that.I feel because these should fit me at a size 7, that I should notice a difference when I am toe walking vs not walking on my toes, but I only feel the discomfort no matter how I walk.

Reminds without causing discomfort
These are very well made and can accomodate a variety of sizes. My child wears a youth size 4 and they fit perfectly. The sock works as a good reminder to walk flat without causing discomfort. Materials are quality and stitching is sturdy.

Good
My daughter has been walking on her tippy toes for a while now, and after having her wear these for about an hour or so a day you can definitely see the difference. She walks on her flat feet more and more

Absolute waste of time
I’d leave zero stars if that was an option. I read the mixed reviews but was hopeful that these would somehow work. Don’t get any hope from the mixed reviews. They do not work at all. It’s a joke. My daughter immediately toe walked around like nothing was different. She is 4 years old and can clearly communicate her thoughts and when I asked if she noticed any difference near her toes or if it made her feel funny to walk on her toes she said no. The tiny bar in the sock is a joke and does not actually work. It’s not very strong. I feel like this is a gimmick for a hopeful parent and someone out there is laughing their way to the bank every time one of us idiots purchase this product. I’m being completely honest, this is truly a joke.

Actually helps!
My daughter has been toe walking since she could walk. We have tried months of therapy, which did help, but unfortunately she still walks on her tippy toes. I saw these and decided it’s worth a shot. After she put them on it took her a little while to really see if they were doing anything. At the end of the day of wearing them she said they do help her not want to walk on her toes. She mentioned how the bar in the sock is uncomfortable, as it’s meant to be, and it does help her remember to walk flat. We have only had them for a couple of days but so far so good! I would say they’re worth a shot! They function as they should, I would recommend.
