The book is a really helpful introduction to the subject. It is very much written for a western audience, with the aim of helping them understand Arabic culture better. Clearly this is a very big subject, and any book can only scratch the surface of a complex and diverse subject matter. However, if you want to understand more about the subject, this is a great place to start. highly recommended.

Good practical tips on how to deal with the Gulf Arabs in business. Useful reading for any westerner working in the Gulf or doing business with the region. The style is sometimes a bit academic though.
