Works like a pitcher should
The pitcher build is nice, decently thick walls and decent weight. My Motta pitcher that is half the size is about the same weight and has crazy thick walls, but it was also about twice the price. We have multiple Rattleware pitchers, and for the money, you can not beat them. Never got a ding in any, and they are definitely dropped sometimes. So the metal is thick enough not to show things.3 1/2" wide at top4" wide at bottom5" tallI use this at a coffee shop, so my review comes from there. It is good if you want a ton of space extra, if you have 20-24oz drinks this would work perfect. Our biggest size is 16oz so it is a bit big for that, but still steams nicely, with our 12oz size it is too big to control well enough, especially if you have a double or triple shot in the cup, you must use a smaller pitcher to steam with. As far as two 12oz, you can do that as long as they have a flavor or shot or something in them.If you steam milk for two smaller sizes, this pitcher would probably be perfect, but if you steam for two large, or just one drink, it is not the right size. We have a bigger pitcher for two large drinks, and just ordered a smaller RW for making one drink at a time. So most likely this will fade out of use. Not because of the quality, but the size.

High quality, perfect size, reasonable price, highly recommend
This is a high quality stainless steel milk frothing mug.The size is perfect for heating milk for two regular size espressos. When you fill the container half way with milk to 16 0z it allows the frothed milk to rise to approximately 3/4 of the way to the top leaving you enough room to also froth foam if you wish as well as leave you room to pour without spilling. The weight is also just right where it is not too light nor too heavy. The weight provides stability and the construction allows the milk to be heated quickly to about 132 degrees in 2 minutes for 16 oz and retains the heat internally well while the outside is warm but not to hot to touch. The handle also is solidly made and allows the user to easily pour the large container of liquid with one hand and minimal effort. Lastly, it is dishwasher safe too.I purchased the 32 oz size because the 20 oz size is not large enough to serve two full size servings of frothed/heated liquid for two people.I would highly recommend this product as it is high quality, reasonably priced, and the perfect size for serving two.

Terrible quality control
Nice thick material, smooth edges, but all of this is moot when the handle and pitcher is off center.Bought this three years ago and rarely used it because every-time I tried to pour, my pattern will veer like crazy to the left. I ended up defaulting back to my cheap no name pitcher. My friend just recently pointed out that maybe it was the pitcher and not me, and for the first time in three years I scrutinized the symmetry…it’s off center! quite a bit off center too, I can’t believe it took me this long to notice, but here’s your reminder to check your product and not blindly trust rattleware to be a good quality-keeping brand like my dumb behind did.

Go Ahead and Buy the Real Thing. Good Tools are Worth It.
Heavy stainless with a well-secured handle. The shape supports easy frothing, though I can't speak to the "...Latte Art..." aspect as my latte art, up until this point, anyway, fundamentally sucks. I pull a pretty good shot, though.Anyway, I think it's worth it to get this over the less expensive, lighter, tack-welded versions. If you make coffee everyday, get decent, pleasant-to-use-and-handle tools. Makes the whole process that much more enjoyable.Bon café!ps If you get a lighter or tack-welded version, you've been had by an unscrupulous seller, or you've gotten an item returned as RattleWare to Amazon Warehouse, which isn't RattleWare. The one downside of Warehouse is that sometimes they don't check the authenticity of returns from shady sellers before passing them along. 98% of the time Warehouse is a great deal, but once in a while, as is apparently the case with this item, it's better to order new from Amazon. The genuine item has a lower case "rw" impressed in the bottom surface, with "Rattleware" impressed beneath in very tiny letters.

Good size for 1 latte, maybe 2 tiny ones
I honestly don't know how people get the 12oz pitcher. That thing must be ridiculously tiny. I feel the 20oz is a bit on the small size and is literally only good for frothing up enough milk for 1 latte in a larger mug. I might be able to stretch two small lattes out of the pitcher without re-frothing, but that would be tough. If you're entertaining, this is not for you. However, if you are ok making 1 latte at a time, this is a decent buy. Build quality is nice and sturdy, the stainless hasn't showed any signs of corrosion and cleans up very easily (just rinse in the sink). It contains the milk decently well and doesn't splash much even if I screw up. The spout is precise and I presume is good for latte art, but I don't do any of that. I just wish they made a 30oz pitcher, because I have to steam two batches of milk for morning coffee for me and my wife. It works well for what it is, though.

Perfect size for the Gaggia
20oz is the perfect size pitcher for my Gaggia Classic, I've read that the 12oz was the best size for my machine but I have to disagree. The smaller pitcher is to small because once you get the micro foam incorporated, the swirling milk is right at the edge of the pitcher. The 20oz however gives you room to froth much more and still have room to incorporate the foam. I've since ordered a second 20oz and the big bad 32oz just for fun, I'm thinking that one will be good to keep the milk chilled in while I'm using the other two 20oz pitchers for frothing. And don't worry you can easily get the 20oz pitcher under the steam wand of the Gaggia Classic. The only problem I'm having now is I'm flying through my milk!!
