Best Lotion for Dry Skin on Face
I have tried so many lotions and balms. I live in the Midwest where the air is sooo dry in the winter and the AC tends to be drying indoors during the summer.I have dry skin, and I use Tretinoin. I could not find anything to keep my skin from peeling on my cheeks and chin by the end of the day. This is the only thing that worked, and I tried a lot of things.It is very thick. I warm it up between my fingers. I use it morning and night. It leaves my skin glowing and soft. I would not want to live without this. 12/10During the winter, I still use this over a lighter moisturizer under and usually a balm or oil on top of this, but of all the rich/thick lotions I’ve tried this is the only one that stops the peeling.I have sensitive skin and it can sting ever so slightly when my skin is very dry or my barrier is disrupted but it is short lived and I have noticed reduced redness and irritation overall since using this product.

A miracle product
Truly the only thing keeping my skin healthy! It’s the only thing that soothes my skin when it’s chapped or flares up. I put this on at night and by morning my skin is clear and comfortable again. It hydrates without clogging my pores. I’ve re-ordered many times!

Really effective heavy moisturizer
Skin Food is fabulous although it's very heavy, almost ointment-like. My skin is dry (and aging, 53 years old) so I appreciate the heavy duty moisture but someone younger or who doesn't have dry skin might feel it's too heavy.It is really effective and helps my skin retain moisture all day - the way I prefer to use it is to apply to clean skin before bed, then just rinse my face and neck in the morning before applying make up. This routine works really well! Highly recommend :)

So this is love
Initially bought this product upon KJH’s recommendation. Living in Wisconsin is brutal in the winter, nothing keeps my skin as moisturized as skin food. It can feel heavy when you first put it on but the results are well worth the few minutes of stickiness. I put this lotion absolutely everywhere and occasionally use it as a sleep mask for my face + natural looking highlight. The scent is calming and herbal + the quality of ingredients is unmatched (especially here in the US) 10/10When it comes to rich lotions, I’ll never buy another.

Amazing product! After I ordered it for myself I then ordered it for my daughter. These cold winter months have been brutal on our hands. This had made it so much better. Great price! Fabulous product! And fast shipping!!!

Can't do without it
As the title states I use this 2x per day and nothing is as hydrating and gentle as the Skin Food. Barrier feels healthy and my face well nourished using this cream. A little goes a long way and a bottle will last me months and months. Scent is herbal, not my favorite but it goes away. It's a must for dry or chapped skin.
