This mask made my skin feel soooo soft and smooth after one use, almost like when I’m leaving after a professional facial.

Lovely and non-drying face mask. It has a clean aesthetic, scentless, and is not difficult to apply on skin. Goes on smoothly, and doesn't really dry down like most face masks. I know that mung bean is popular in K-skincare and I generally enjoy the little granules in the mask when washing it off as it offers some extra exfoliation. I bought this because I like to use a clay mask 1-2 times a week and found this formula gentle enough for my normal, acne-prone and occasionally-sensitive skin. It left my face feeling clean and soft, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with normal to dry skin who still enjoys using clay masks. I think people with very oily skin might prefer a mask that dries down more, so be aware that this mask will not be as effective with oil reduction if that is what you are going for. Oh, I should also mention that it comes in a decent sized jar for the price. I think it will last me 6-9 months at my rate of using it (I use clay masks in rotation, but it you were using only this 1-2 times a week I think it can easily last 4-5 months)--seems like a pretty fair price to me!

I didn't know what to expect from this mask since I had never heard of the brand, but it is really an excellent mask. It does a great job of drawing out gunk and I've been oil pulling immediately following the mask and it works extremely well in that way. Whatever the mask doesn't get out by itself, the oil helps pull out while the pores are still open from the mask, and it really grabs everything out of pores. It isn't super drying like some masks, but it is just the smallest bit drying and following it with oil pulling also helps in that regard. Would definitely recommend this one and really recommend following with oil pulling!

The Mung Bean Pore Mask from beplain is a good treatment for when you don't have a lot of time but still want to squeeze in some self-care. It needs to be applied for just 3-5 minutes. I left it on for 10 to get some extra mileage out of it. The mask is a soft clay paste that contains specks of what I assume is mung bean. This is a popular ingredient in Korean skincare, and it has pore-purifying and exfoliating properties. The mask has an earthy, vegetable-like smell. A small spatula is included in the box to help apply it hygienically.I like this mask because it's a fast and efficient treatment. It targets blemishes while gently exfoliating my skin. After I used it, I didn't apply any other creams or serums because I wanted to see how it performed on its own. My complexion looked clearer and brighter in the morning.It comes in a sealed box, and the container looks cool. It fits in my hand comfortably, and there is a removable seal inside to keep the mask fresh. At $19.99 (at the time of this review) this is a great price mask that will be a nice treat for any beauty enthusiast.

Clay masks can be good for pimples because clay is the original skin cleaner. As it dries it PHYSICALLY pulls sebum out of the pores but this is not a really drying mask. For the most part it is reminding our teen to CLEAN HIS FACE so that is a good thing.

This is an excellent face mask. You can literally see the mung bean pieces in the clay. It goes on easily and it's easy to wash off after it dries. This mask leaves my skin clean and my pores tightened. I haven't experienced any breakouts, sensitivity, or other negative effects after using this product. I highly recommend this face mask.
