Since My background is mixed, you can believe that I like mixing different themes and cultures in My clothes. If enjoy shopping (like, a lot!) and have no trouble finding things. Then when I get home, I add My own touches here and there to make them more Me. Sometimes I'll cut a slit into a skirt, add some beading, or maybe I'll even dye the fabric. Yeah I know, pretty drastic, huh? It's fun though. You can't let your look Be dictated by what they offer to everybody! We hope little girls will see their own beauty reflected back to them with fresh. Expected the doll to be better quality
I've been trying to decide on how to rate this doll for a couple of months now. I wanted to give her a higher rating due to the fact that the Fresh Dolls are so great at giving little girls of color the opportunity to play with dolls that look like family members and/or friends. But the quality of the doll is just not what I expected. The plastic parts of her body feel flimsy, and the articulation points feel very fragile, like they would break if used too much. Her hair was a mess in the packaging and I had to brush it; I was extremely careful with the brushing, but several strands of hair still fell off her head. The hair itself feels brittle. The dress that she comes wearing is made of a weird, cheap paper-like material. I did like the second dress included in the package, as well as the shoes and purse. Was disappointed that she only came with one pair of shoes, though, as I expected her to be wearing another pair under her long dress.Also, when compared side to side with Barbie dolls she looks HUGE. She's taller and her body looks very big, even next to the curvy Barbies. Her face/head also looks too big when compared to the size of Barbie doll heads. I do realize that this is a different company and that they're doing their own thing, but since I bought this doll to be a friend to my Barbie dolls the fact that she's so much bigger in size is disappointing too. She *is* beautiful, don't get me wrong, but even if I overlook the size issues, the overall quality of the materials used is just not good enough. And that's why she only gets 3 stars. I'd give her another half star if I could.

It's Alright but...
She isn't as pretty as the mockup would lead you to believe. The hair is crap and clumps fell out when I brushed it which I had to do because it was a hot mess in the box, definitely not luxurious looking like in the picture. The doll itself is ok, pretty on par with your standard fashion doll these days but I will say the plastic feels slightly more cheaper than a Barbie Fashionista. It is articulated so it has that working for it but the head doesn't move so she can't look up, which is weird to me. The outfits are made out of the CHEAPEST material that seriously almost feels like paper. Fab gold shoes tho. Will not be buying another Fresh Doll.

I Love this doll
Jacqueline at times looks like Beyonce. She is a gorgeous doll and her fashion is fabulous.I have bought all of the Fresh dollsI love the body shape and articulation which works well in my Stop Motion videosI have purchased each doll more than twice for Repaints Reroot and body swappingIt is so great to find a doll line dedicated to the AA body and features.Please note that the Fresh Dolls can also wear Barbie curvy doll clothes.

Lovely all around
The Fresh Dolls all have great posable bodies, that are sturdy enough to hold up under children's rough play. The dolls bend at the hips AND knees; shoulders AND elbows. And sit up very nicely with ankles crossed. But Jacqueline also has a lovely face, and gorgeous soft hair. Some of the other Fresh Dolls have eyes that look too flat or too dull. Jacqueline has different eyes than the others, more lifelike and sparkling. I love that she comes with a super fancy ball gown and cute everyday dress.

Your little girl will love her
Beautiful doll and amazing value. She's just like the made to move barbies but way more realistic body. She came with an extra dress, which was a really nice surprise. Although her proportions are different than Barbie ( larger,curvy) the Barbie clothes still fit her. My daughter says she reminds her of Beyonce. The only thing that bothers my daughter and I is that the doll's are advertised as being culturally divers but there are not any Caucasian doll's. Still would recommend and we definitely plan on purchasing more

Gorgeous Doll
She has bendable knees and elbows! This doll comes with a beautiful blue ball gown and a casual outfit. Her hair is long and lovely. She is a great addition to my doll collection, and I would gladly buy this as a gift for a child. I hope to buy more Fresh Dolls in the future!
