Did they change the label on this item. I always buy this particular brand but my label is definitely different

The Forum Chardonnay vinegar label has slightly different artwork on the newer lots, but is still pretty similar in appearance. I believe the photo on the Amazon listing has the older version of the product's label or one used for non-USA markets. The Forum vinegars we are supplied with currently have a front label with artwork of the foods the vinegar can be used with instead of the Solera age statement, but I am sure that some sellers still sell the same vinegar with the older label like in the product photo on the listing.

I ordered the chardonnay vinegar but this label indicates that it is ‘vinagre balsamico’. That isn’t the same thing, is it?

It's vinegar Jim, but not as we know it

Delicious stuff - rich and complex, though it isn't actually vinegar.In fact it's made from a mixture of wine vinegar and grape must which is then matured in oak barrels,resulting in a sweeter, lighter flavour than mere vinegar.I forgive the slightly misleading description since it tastes so good.

Arrived on time and as described. The vinegar is excellent and I highly recommend it. Postage cost is a little excessive.

A good quality vingear that's not harsh, and good for using as a base for flavoured vinegars. Shame it's so expensive!

Forum chardonnay vinegar

This vinegar has a very distinctive fruity and slightly sweet flavour.It makes a vinaigrette for a simple green salad special. I purchased it from Amazon UK and it was sold via Getoily. I received my order the day after it was ordered.Really excellent service.
