American Seed Hummingbird Mix, Wildflower Blend, 100 Square Foot Shaker Box (2 Ounce)

Seeds sprouted, so there's that. Waiting for them to grow and bloomm into a beautiful carpet dotted with nature's jewels 😜Really, they seem to be getting along just fine.

I soaked both these seeds, and those from another distributor, for 24 hours, before planting. Virtually all of the other (butterfly and bird mix on amazon) seeds grew. These did not. Also, the appearance of the seeds from these two sources were dramatically different. The others were of all different shapes and sizes, as you would expect from a mix. These were all tiny seeds, very tiny, that all appeared to be the same. None grew. If some eventually do, I'll report back. But as of this moment, I cannot recommend these, but can heavily recommend the bird and butterfly mix. Just be sure to soak them in water overnight before planting. I use spring water.

Out of the all the seeds, only three have sprouted after 2 months.

The gift was appreciated- hopefully flowers bloom also. ;)

Planted 5 boxes - 2 months ago (mid May). Have mixed results from box to box.Didn't expect much from the two planted in partial shade - now 4" to 7" tall - no buds / flowers.- photo.But it's interesting that 2 of 3 did fairly well - planted in same sunny conditions.(one box resulted in two 3" plants that will never amount to anything)The other two boxes have several nice plants with blooms & flowers 4" to 24" tall - photo.Not sure if American Seed Co - parsley is available on Amazon, but got thisat the $ store & think it did well = 12" flower pot - contains 4 envelopes -plants 9" tall in two mo. - photoLearning curve = and reason for 5 stars.We planted 9 different American Seed kinds / boxes of mixes,kept track of what did well - where planted & how tall.This is one we'd try again next year.(one box is said to cover 100 sq ft - photo of several plants doing fairly wellis 2 boxes - 6 ft long by 1 1/2 ft deep = approx 9 sq ft)In general - the flowers planted in flower pots did much better then in bedsThe American Seeds Mixes are very finicky = the majority proved a waste of time and $.

These seeds are great but NOT cheap!
