I purchased this because I often sleep with ear plugs and sometimes miss my alarm. As I need to be up and about before the rest of my family I wanted something that would wake me up without disturbing the rest of the house. Hence I thought I'd try the combination of a vibrating pad and light. The fact that the clock is also RF synchronised was a bonus. It worked brilliantly - I slept through the night with ear plugs in and was woken very effectively by the vibration and light. The only downside (and this is entirely on me for not reading the spec) is that the clock is huge, it's absolutely massive! :)

Only bonus about this is the large LED display. Great if you're visually impaired and spend your days with your curtain closed.Bought this for my partner as she is deaf/hard of hearing and needed a new alarm. It took her 5 mins to get the clock setting to work and then when she set it up in room with the curtain and blind open, she could not see the display. Which is unhelpful.The daylight makes it impossible as seen in the photos. One is with her curtain closed, one is with curtain and blind open.Switching the alarm off is not exactly easy either, took my partner a solid minute to turn it off.Will be sending it back.

I'm deaf so I was looking for something with a vibration function, this does not disappoint infact even on low (there's a high setting) this alarm clock could raise the dead. Well happy

If the power went off you had to wait for it to receive the signal in order to reset itself. Sometimes that took time.Otherwise it works great
