My dog eats all of her meals from food puzzles, so I thought this would be a great gift for her. It's so different than all of her other puzzles. But I was sorely mistaken. The picture that shows a bunch of kibble raining down from the toy is wildly inaccurate. 95%+ of the time when the toy popped and was supposed to send kibble shooting into the air, the kibble bounced weakly inside and nothing came out. The few times that something did come out, it was just one piece. I thought maybe Grace wasn't pushing hard enough, so I tried myself. I got the same pathetic results. I tried taking out some of the kibble to see if it would work better with fewer pieces, but that didn't help either. What a waste.

This toy almost works. My dog can roll it around on the floor, but it takes a lot of downward pressure to activate the popper. I use both hands to roll it back and forth and she chases the food that pops out.To actually get the food to pop outside of the dome, you need very tiny pieces. Small, thin food like that meant for puppies works best because the popper isn't strong.The less food you put in, the better it works. If there's more than an 1/8 cup of food, you might get one piece for every 4 pops. When all the food fits on the popper, you'll get 2-3 pieces at a time.My dog does play with this-- pushes it around and pounces on it-- but she has yet to get it to pop on her own. She's 14 lbs, so it's possible a larger dog could manage the down and forward motion, but don't bother for any dog under 30-50lbs.

Light, small treats work great for this! The popping mechanism is triggered when the wheels roll on the ground, so it's entirely mechanical (no batteries or anything automatic here). My dog loves this thing and bats it around the room. Very sturdy, easy to clean, all in all a good buy.

My 7 pound dog figured it out in less than a minute. She loves this thing! Seems sturdy enough. But it is heavy, and hard for her to roll. She gets it done, but only with lots of effort.

This is made in China and very cheap my little dog can not even push it , it is for larger dogs.

Our dog loves it very much. I just need to put his treats in this dispenser toy, he will immediately push it and try to Get the treats out.He does more daily exercise now because of this toy. Thanks for this toy, our dog looks more lively and healthier.

My dog loves this. Easily pushed around on flat surfaces. Doesnt pop out too much food. Makes them work for it.

My dogs love this. They could play forever. Downside is you must supervise play with this...my dogs will pick it up, chew on it etc...and it isn't as durable as a "chew toy"
