It’s great and we’re happy to have this “vintage” item. It’s easy to use and makes great ice cream. My 6 yo loves it.

I'm an addict. I admit it. I view ice cream as the perfect food. This lets me enjoy homemade anytime the urge hits. The one quart size is just right for a small family. The from scratch approach means you control ingredients. Clean up is a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone. One note-the recipe for their "favorite" French Vanilla ice cream is WAY too sweet. Look online or ask your grandma for a real recipe.

I bought this item for a birthday present. The first batch we made together came out great.I did quite a bit of reading as to how to use the item and followed recommendations.We plan on limiting ourselves to once a week because the ice cream came out so well, we ate half of the first batch!Can't wait to try all kinds of other flavors....but once a week as we used heavy cream in the first round.May have to cut back to light cream so we can have more this summer.

I like the product but very much dislike its portrayal as a new one on Amazon. I would have returned it but had no time with grandsons coming to visit to buy another. It arrived in a very old ragged orig box with tape all over it and smelled like cig smoke. I had to remove the tape of course which ripped part of the box off since it was not put in another box to mail to me. Horrible! I really have no idea if it was really new or not! It did work fine however! Not worth $76 in its condition! Also, it did not come with the recipe booklet like my friend got from when she purchased this in the 80s. I had to make a copy of hers. Beware!

Was delighted to find I could turn the handle between tasking in the kitchen vs costant churn. Lime sorbet from my own tree is a dinner party hit. Item in reasonable condition in original packaging.

This ice cream maker is the BEST! So simple to use and clean up is very easy. A must have if you love soft serve home made Ice Cream!

By far the best ice cream maker I've had to date (and I've had a bunch of them)! The motors on others tend to wear out so quickly, but this Donvier works really well time and time again. Definitely recommended!
