This pipe is a little undersized. I bought a new cat (which fits snugly over my 3” stock exhaust) this pipe fits so loosely in the cat that I will have to expand the ends before I can weld it in to the cat. Quality of the pipe is excellent otherwise.

Warehouse deals 12 dolla and it had couple dents at ends but whip out Dewalt pliers and it's all good now lol high quality material which is my only way I do stuff. Magnetic so? It's of high grade material.

Welded up yesterday with stainless wire and some trimix gas. Definitely stainless 409 is magnetic, welded very nice. Our machines are very sensitive and I would have had a very difficult time welding with stainless wire and trimix if it was not stainless. Just my .02. If I were half these people I’d update when it doesn’t fall apart in 2 years. It’s not shiny and pretty like 304.

Excellent product. Needed two pieces of equal length and we cut this in half. Worked perfectly.

There are a lot of negative reviews for this product, however I made my second order of this for practicing tig welding. I do know though that 304 stainless steel is not magnetic, 409 stainless is magnetic. 409 has great corrosion properties granted it is welded with the correct filler and gas, the pipe will oxidize and slightly rust over time on the surface whereas 304 will not. The other reviews make me uncertain, but I’m happy with their piping. Inside is clean and not full of oil and metal shards like Mandrel mild steel I got off eBay.

I'm so sorry for the lateness of trying to return this items but I am now settling in after two weeks of searching for a new apartment after the fire had made it very difficult to organize myself to be able to return these items I'm truly grateful if you will accept my humble apology and understanding what my situation was and is now. Can be clamped or welded without worry. Should really stand the test of time.

It’s magnetic, chrome plated garbage, not stainless steel.
