I don't write reviews often, and there are many times where I make a purchase and I think "WOW this is a great product I should totally write a review" but I never actually do. This product however I want to leave something because out of all the stud finders I've used... which has been like four (one including a cell phone app), this is by far the most easiest and accurate of them all. With previous stud finders I found it hard to believe the beeping, the accuracy, if it was actually doing it's job or just giving me whatever reading it wanted. And the reviews were always hit or miss. With this product it's a magnet, it's a magnet that finds the screw and thus finds your stud location. You simply cannot argue with the results, it's fool proof. Plus it has a leveler! And it needs no batteries ever... because it's magnetic. If you debating between stud finders, I would say you've found your one. When it locateds the screw as well it simply sticks to the wall, leaving you to grab a pencil or walk away while keeping the location known, plus it's so small you really have a good sense of where and how to mark your points. Very happy with this, to the point I'm actually taking the initiative to share my thoughts. Hope this helps someone

I have no isea how this magnet is getting such good reviews. My walls are 5/8 sheetrock and this magnet was utterly useless in locating the drywall screws. It is all I had but the way I had to use it was pull the magnet off the surface of the wall a few mm and slowly move it across until I felt the faintest of possible pulls of a screw attracting the magnet. It is extremely FAINT PULL and I made so many false holes trying to find the stud because using the magnet I was unsure whether it was actually pulling in the magnet or it was just my finger moving causing a placebo.I would never again purchase this product or ones like it, you would probably be better off with a neodymium magnet with a bolt attached in the center to actually locate wall screws.1/10 never again. Going straight back.

If your house is made with wood and metal nails/screws, this is far more accurate than a $60 stud finder at a fraction of the cost. Feels durable and survives being dropped on concrete.

This thing is dead simple to use. Just slide it around until you find one of the drywall nails or screws. It will usually stick right to the spot. The lighter you hold it in your hand the easier it is to feel when it passes over a screw and tries to stick to it. Dangling it on a string is even more effective.It does require more patience than an electronic stud finder, but you don’t get false positives with this thing. You can double check by moving up or down from the one screw it finds until you find a second one.Solidly built and painted nicely, so it should last forever. Can’t imagine a better version of this simple tool.

I was excited to try this based on the reviews but as I used it the magnets are not as strong as I thought. You have to move it against the wall lightly until you feel a slight/minor tug. Do it a few times and you’ll find the stud, but it would not stay on the wall when it was let go.

Very accurate, no batteries needed, small and convenient, easy to use. I have become a diyer (which I love). It's costly for me hire a handyman, so I've been forced to learn to do things for myself. I have been looking for a stud finder and I am glad that I didn't spend so much money on a fancy, battery operated one. I recommend it 100%.

Works great finding the nail or drywall screws to help you locate the studs.Just takes a few slow passes and you can feel the magnet stick or want to stick. Only works with drywall. No need for the other stud finders that cost 2x 3x times the price.

Can a person love a stud finder? Yes! This little beast is impressive for its function and form. Brightly colored to see in any junk drawer or tool box; small enough to manage but sturdy, and adheres to metal like a leech! It took me all of three minutes to locate studs as opposed to looking for one a few days ago that started a feud with my spouse!
