Luxury Duvet Protector - Single

We were looking for a waterproof duvet protector for a while but they all seemed really plasticky and pretty noisy….untill we came across this one it’s so soft and to my suprise it was actually the duvet that makes more noise than the protector, definitely recommend this to anyone although is abit more pricey than some out there it’s definitely worth it…..the old saying that you get what you pay for is definitely the case for this duvet protector

Excellent service and great quality. The positives.....lovely soft hundred percent cotton & very thick material ....you could use it just as a duvet it’s that good, not too heavy, it doesn’t slip off duvet, has a sturdy zip, doesn’t allow feathers to spill out unlike other protectors that cost less money but don’t do what they say. Because it’s 100 percent cotton you don’t sweat & it doesn’t russel.Negative points .....It is not totally water resistant but if you strip the duvet in time it does soak up a lot of the fluids keeping your duvet dry. It is expensive but having said this I have gradually bought more of these protectors for our other duvets as I’m that impressed with them. I have tried endless water resistant duvet protectors and they are terrible....make you hot and sweaty, the duvet slips inside them leaving you cold at night because the duvet is in one corner of the cover & they make terrible noises. This protector is not advertised as water resistant but certainly helps to protect it if you’re quick enough. It has washed really well over the past 12 months since I purchased my first one.I would highly recommend this product as a protector but not a water resistant one.

Great item but doesn’t fit my bamboo super king duvet! Too baggy, the duvet is a slim summer one so may be it but the width is definitely too generous.I have no choice but to use it. Don’t like annoying sliding bedding issues. Will try it the other way round next time see if that works better.This is a good company I trust, the product itself is good and the zip is hidden and good. Just sizing issues.

After reading so many reviews of similar protectors, I decided to go for this one, and pay a little more. When placing my duvet into the protector I didn’t think it would stay in place, but it does. No noise or rustling, so many of the cheaper versions reviews were mentioning this. It’s also not too warm.The main reason for purchasing a protector was due to our kitten using our bed instead of the litter tray, so originally wanting something that was waterproof, but once again the reviews weren’t great for most of the waterproof protectors, although this does not claim to be waterproof, it is water resistant if caught early! (Kitten now knows where his litter tray is)

Only gave one star for ‘warmth’ as you need to be comfortable in bed and this duvet protector doesn’t cause you to overheat. Therefore you can still get a decent nights sleep. I use to make up the bed with a fitted sheet, then a flat sheet and then the duvet. The flat sheet was to protect my expensive duvet. So I’m thrilled to have found this breathable protector instead. As making the bed was getting difficult for me now I’m getting older, this is a game changer Ivan tell you.

Bought primarily to protect my new duvet (10.5tog) from dust mites and the duvet fitted easily into the into the protector.The first thing you notice is the quality of the cotton and the additional weight of the duvet when fitted with the protector and there is no slippage or rustling noises that cheaper quality protectors make.There has been some chilly nights since I bought it several weeks ago but there is definitely a noticeable increase in heat retention under the duvet. I normally buy a higher tog duvet for the winter months but with the protector on, this will not be necessary. Recommended and excellent value for the money.

Had not heard of a duvet protector before (where have I been?) but this seemed like a great idea to protect my new goose down duvet. Haven’t spilled anything on it yet so can’t comment on its water repelling properties but it fits perfectly, is not ‘noisy’ and does not compromise the luxury feel of my duvet at all. Very quick delivery too. In fact, I decided to buy further covers for the rest of the beds in my house which all arrived quickly too.

Bought this to protect my wool duvet purchased from the same company. I have a combination duvet of an autumn and summer one that you can tie together for winter, or use singularly during other seasons. The cover fits well with the zip closure and the material is substantial so it will definitely protect the quilt. The only issue I have is it does add significant weight and therefore warmth to the duvet. One of the reasons I bought a wool quilt was its lightness with warmth but I’m sure I’ll get used to it!
