it seems like exactly the right size
This watch is definitely a Seiko - the other reviewer was apprehensive about purchasing this watch. It is genuine. I guess it all depends on which seller you purchase it from - I got mine from WatchesZon. I have worn my watch daily for about 2 months and there isn't a blemish or scratch on it. The sapphire crystal is tremendous. I was a bit uncomfortable about the size - most of my watches are in the 38-42 mm size. I know the trend is for bigger watches for the younger (20-40 crowd) generation, so this watch coming in at 45mm (measured with calipers - even though the description says 43mm) seemed a bit large. This watch has some design cues from the Rolex Explorer II (including the GMT hand, the white face, etc.). There are plenty of reviews of this watch compared to the Rolex, so I won't repeat what's already been written. Rolex redesigned their Explorer II line a few years back and increased the diameter from 40mm to 42mm, so the Seiko at 45mm seemed really big. I have a 7 inch wrist, and after wearing the watch, it seems like exactly the right size.See the photo (sorry for the low light) for an indication of the size. The Seiko is next to my smaller 38mm Festina. The watch works perfectly. It arrived with a power reserve of about a week. You can manually push a button at about the 2:00 position and the second hand will sweep 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds. Mine swept 10 seconds out of the box. Wearing the watch for about a week increased the power reserve to its full 6-month capacity (the second hand swept for 30 seconds).5 seconds - "More than 1 day"10 seconds - "More than 7 days"20 seconds - "More than approximately 1 month"30 seconds - "Approximately 6 months"I couldn't be happier with the quality and attention to detail that Seiko put into their watches.

Seiko Sportura Kinetic GMT (white-face model)
I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering this particular Seiko model through this dealer. I could not find this model sold by any authorized Seiko dealers in the U.S. And, on the dealer website/Amazon photo the stem did not look correct when compared to the Seiko website photo. I thought this might be a fake. However, it is a model that is listed on the Seiko website. I attempted to contact the Seiko Corp. and did not get a response. I researched what constitutes a genuine Seiko watch and this model appeared to be genuine. I also found this watch reviewed on YouTube from an independent reviewer which seemed legitimate.I was willing to take a chance after thoroughly reviewing the sellers website. However, I wasn't sure if I would ever see the product I ordered from Singapore or if it was going to be a knock-off.I paid extra for a box and 3-7 day FedEx shipment. Surprisingly, I received the product in 3 business days via FedEx at my home. The box could be a repro but I've never bought a Seiko so I couldn't say if it is or not. Just a simple box with "Seiko" printed on the front and the watch came clasped around a pillow. The instructions, however, were for the wrong model # so I had to look up the instructions for this model on the internet. Also, included was a sellers one-year warranty card.If this is a fake, it is one of the best I have ever seen. Having purchased some knock-off Rolex's, the quality of this watch is impeccable. I can only assume that it is indeed a genuine Seiko that is only sold, at this time, outside the U.S. Maybe, it looks too much like the Rolex Explorer II and there is some b.s. going on with the U.S. dealer market. However, you can purchase this same model with a black face from a U.S. dealer. I assume that because it was purchased from a dealer not in the U.S., there is no manufacturer warranty. Much like if you were to purchase electronic equipment from a non-U.S. dealer i.e. a "grey market" product. This watch is awesome. It is exactly what I had hoped for, not a flaw on it and functions flawlessly. I may be eating my words if it stops working. But for now, I would not hesitate to purchase from this dealer again. The price was competitive for any Seiko in the U.S. market with fast shipping. As for the stem not looking right in the photo...the dealer photo shows the stem in the un-screwed position. Once you set the watch and screw down the stem it seats properly in the case.
