If you are a dog or cat owner wanting to monitor your pet at home this MIGHT work but unlikely. Why? It is impossible to get the urine sample to spread evenly across the prism thus giving you an accurate result/measurement.

Quite accurate and easy to use. I was using another model for humans and this one is more precise and you can clearly read reaults to two decimal places.
