7Penn Steel Cable Lock with 4-Digit Tumbler Combination 3ft Long Cord in Red – Adjustable Combo for Bike Luggage

I bought this lock for use during a recent snowboarding trip. The initial combo is easy to set and the lock itself is easy to use. The cord has enough length that we could lock up two snowboards with it. I don't really know how 'heavy duty' the cord itself is in terms of thickness but my intended use was to simply deter anyone looking for an easy pick of our snowboards while in the lodge. Recommended.

This is not a secure lock if you're leaving an expensive bike for a long period of time but great for quick stops. Keeps honest people honest and stops someone from hopping on and riding away. Easy to set lock combination. Just make sure you hold on to the end. It snaps back quickly and could really sting if it hits you.

We use this to lock our refrigerator - it works great. The cable is coated, so it doesn't scratch & changing the combination is simple (I've had other changeable combination items that were a bear the use).

Very easy to set the combination and use. I use it at the park to like the stroller wheel. Very quick to lock and unlock.

I bought 5. Does not work well. Difficult to get pin inserted into lock. Tension not consistent.

A series of quick tugs pulls the cable through the lock incrementally. Too bad I missed the return window as I ordered it in advance of my need. Now I own it :-(
