Best hot tub water treatment option on the market!!
This is hands down the best hot tub water treatment option on the market. I waited 6 months to add my review because honestly, I kept waiting to make sure it would work long term. It does!! My father-in-law got a bad rash when he purchased his new Bullfrog hot tub 6 months ago so I spent hours upon hours researching different chemical options. I purchased ionRx for my tub to see how this option would work. We were very impressed from Day 1. Clear and great smelling spa water! After a lot of flack from our local Bullfrog dealer we ended up determining his tub shipped from the Bullfrog factory with a biofilm that had already grown in the waterlines prior to us recieving the new tub (which we later confirmed and returned the tub for a new one). However, we liked the ionRx so much that we stayed using it. Believe me there isn't a hot tub store that I know of that would recommend this option because they would lose tons of money in the other chemicals they sell as no one would by them (ie: shock, bromine, chlorine, natural enzyme, stain and scale, water clarifier..... Have I forgotten any???) pH up and down and Alkalinity up are the only chemicals you need with this option other than the ionRx and chlorine tablets that come as a kit (I recommend ordering the kit on your initial order so you get the floater and chlorine tabs). Our tub looks and smells amazing and I only do the chemicals every Sunday with the ionRx system (I am super picky and OCD about my hot tub water). It's very simple and a great product that anyone with a hot tub should be using. I also use a mineral cartridge that goes in the filter compartment along with a scum bug floating sponge to absorb body oils but those are just additional steps that I take because I'm picky as heck. ๐

Best hot tub chemical solution out there!
I have had my hot tub for 2 years now, and in that time I have never been able to really relax and enjoy a soak. I've tried every single sanitizer solution I could find, including chlorine, bromine, mineral sticks, enzymes, borates, biguanide / peroxide and every single one of those caused my skin to break out in rashes, become super sensitive, itchy, red and really made me hate my hot tub. Even just opening the cover to test the water for 5 seconds would make me break out and itch like crazy from the fumes.I was about to finally give up on it and try to sell my tub, but decided to try IonRx on a whim. I've known about IonRx for a while but figured it wouldnt be any better than Nature2 sticks. Im thrilled to say I was very wrong. Nature2 does lower how much chlorine is needed, but not by any significant amount and there is no real way to test if its working. Its fine as a backup solution for when chlorine dips to 0, but if you leave it for any period of time at 0 it will still cloud up like there isnt anything in the water. With IonRx, my water has stayed sparkly clear for almost 2 months and all I need to add is about 1 tsp of chlorine a day, or per use. In a 450 gallon tub, this is around 1ppm of chlorine and by the time I get in again its decayed to a level that doesnt bother my skin. The really crazy thing is I went on a week long vacation recently, and so I followed the instructions and put in 2 weeks worth of IonRx, and 2 tbsp of chlorine (my normal shock dose, about 10ppm). When I came back I was absolutely blown away that there was still 2-3ppm of chlorine showing on the test strips. Even with Nature2 sticks, putting in several tbsp of chlroine would disappear within 24-48 hours. I was also amazed that the pH levels stayed where they should be.Long story short, I've tried every product out there for sensitive skin in hot tubs, and this is the closest I have gotten to something that is 1) really easy to maintain and 2) cuts down on my skin problems by 80-90%.I thought this stuff was super expensive at $40/gallon but even in a 450 gallon tub that has lasted me almost 2 months, and the copper levels are testing at a high enough level now that I dont need to even add it every week. I've been using so little chlorine that the CYA stabilizer levels wont become a problem until the 6 month mark when I'd change the water anyway.I started with the recommended trichlor floater, but found it really difficult to maintain a low level of chlorine and its also forbidden by the hot tub manufacturer warranty. Dichlor requires a little more daily maintenance but you use so little of it that CYA levels dont become a problem for months.

Good product great customer service
Was using another product that has been discontinued, IORX seamed like a good option, received the product and used as directed after few days I started having cloudy water did some adjustments on my own but was still having issues.Reached out to customer service and after talking to the owner and giving him a little information we decided the water just needed a little help, I did as they recommended and shocked the water I now have a crystal clear tub.If you are having problems with the product before giving up, getting upset with the product and writing bad reviews I recommend reaching out to customer service as it probably your water rather than the product.

I have a 325 gallon spa and I used 13 ounces of ion RX and two of the 1 in. chlorine tablets
This is my first time using this product I use to use the bromine method and I did not like the harsh smell or the way it made my skin feel tight and itchy plus it would dry out my skin dramatically. So I decided to try this and I must say that it has been very easy and so far I am extremely pleased with the results. I emptied out my spa to remove all traces of bromine and all the other chemicals I then cleaned the spa inside and rinsed with the water hose and drained. I refilled my tub which is a 325 gallon spa. I used 13 ounces of the ion RX and 2 tablets of the 1 inch chlorine pills in a floater. The water had a light green tint to it when I filled it, I used a regular water hose from my backyard. I went ahead and added the chemicals as stated above but did not get in right away because I wanted to see how the water would look after a few hours and make sure everything was stabilized before getting in the spa. first thing I did was make sure that my pH and alkalinity were within normal range . I had to use a pH increaser in my case to bring up the level a little, then I poured the ion RX in and threw the two tablets in the floater. I did this around 7 PM and the following morning I woke up and I was so excited to see how clear my spa was With NO harsh smells. I will give another feedback in about a month or so and see how it goes with this product there will be a follow up video thank you IoN RX so far no complaints ๐
