A suggestion to the manufacturer, or the more crafty customer
This mask looks very cool until you get it and realize if your face doesn't very closely match the mold it is pretty dang uncomfortable and doesn't really sit right. I'd have returned it but I waited too long to put it on, assuming it would fit. As I'm sure others have pointed out, it also has ribbon ties, which are pretty awkward to use by yourself. Also, pay close attention to the shape of the mask in that image. I didn't realize this until I got it, but the left side which extends over your brow and slightly around the side of your head is the most awkward part. The shape actually looks pretty bad when you see it on your face, and it's the source of the bulk of the fitting issue too.A suggestion to the manufacturer would be to do away with the entire little left "arm" of the mask and instead attach an elastic band to the part which would be left-most if that was removed, to where the other ribbon currently is. This would actually keep the mask more firmly on your face (I picked up a really cheap phantom of the opera mask that does exactly this and it was way more comfortable) plus the shape would actually look much better.2/5 because the material and pain/decor of the mask were as good as expected.

Great mask, hate the back the ribbon.
The design on this particular mask looks great but as any mask, it looks much better when the right clothes are put together. The mask is hard and doesn’t exactly fit the shape of my face (to be expected since it’s made for everyone) on the outer right side. I tried softening it with hot hair dryer but this thing won’t budge. I hesitated to make it hot enough to bend but I was afraid it would damage the gold design in front since they are soft to the touch as if it was hot glue painted with gold.I have it 4 stars because they used ribbons instead of elastic band. This is impossible to wear on your own! You need to hold the mask while tying it or it would be too lose. If it’s not perfectly placed on your face, it will bother your sight. So, If you are wearing it to a party and it came lose or had to take it off, you’ll need help and a few tries to make it tight enough.I suggest, if you get this a few days before a party, is to replace the ribbon with a black elastic band so you have total control on how and when you wear it without relying on anyone.

Not for long term use.
Expected quality for the price and perfect for a party, however it’s for those who have bigger faces.I had to aggressively bend the mask to fit my face better, but even then the mask was clearly meant for a fuller face. I’m not “skinny” per say nor am I “fat,” I’m 200lbs and 6ft: but regardless I would suggest a more adjustable mask. The strap is not elastic. You have to tie it rather tight to stay on your face and for some that may be uncomfortable. Again I didn’t mind that part until towards the end of the night when the string (which is super glued to the mask) broke at where it was attached.Fun mask, enjoyed it, not for long term use though (like one party lol)

Quality is excellent!
I bought this for my husband who is taking my granddaughters to a masquerade ball. This is a hard shell mask, not thin plastic, and the colors and decoration seem to be lacquered on. Love the design - very phantomesque, with small pieces of sheet music on the right side. The ties are satin ribbon and I would prefer they were more substantial, but, overall, this is a beautiful mask.

"One Size Fits All" is not quite true. Overall good, though.
This mask was quite large on my face. I'm by no means a small person, but not abnormally so. If it doesn't really fit, it ends up being loose and hard to talk with or wear in general. The material is surprisingly durable, it's a solid piece of plastic that truly feels high-quality. Some of the glitter does tend to come off if brushed against, though. The biggest issue I had with this mask is the strap. It is not possible to get the mask to stay tight while tying it, and the material for the strap makes it virtually impossible to untie, not to mention that you have to do it behind your head. Good for a couple of events, but if you attend masquerades more often than once every few months, I'd recommend getting something a little more expensive and comfortable.

Nice Mask
I liked the colors and the price of the mask. My son had a Jr. Prom and the theme was masquerade.

Doesn't fit adequately
The mask is great quality. It's nice and sturdy. Unfortunately, it does not fit properly. The full side does not even sit on the face and the nose part is so small and narrow, it's not for a male at all. It's made for the nose of a child, which was strange, because the mask itself was too large. Had it fit properly, it would have been great. Of the ones I ordered, it was the only one that was actually red and not burgundy.

Poor design
These masks do not have any elastic in the restraints and in order to get the heavy material to stay in place, the strings have to be tied super tight. A smarter design would have been an elastic band and lighter, more bendy material so the wearer can smile or speak without the mask moving.

Llego entera
Sugiero que el empaque sea dentro de una caja de cartón para evitar que se quiebre o raspe. Llego entera pero si se raspó la pintura dorada ya que solo venia dentro de una bolsa plástica y dentro del sobre de papel de Amazon.

Mask is bigger than you imagine!
If you have a small / medium face, you will need to make some adjustments. Mine rests almost entirely on the tip of my nose, creating some discomfort.
