VIZPET Dog Raincoat Waterproof Lightweight & High Visibility Dog Coat Jacket for Small Medium Large Dogs

I have a lean and petite, 65lbs Labrador. Based upon the instructions, I loosely measured her dimensions several times to ensure I got accurate measurements (neck 21"/chest 29.5"/length 18.5") and I determined that she needed an XL size. The item arrived quickly. After donning her raincoat, it appears too tight and constrict around the neck; otherwise it's a good fit. If you have a pet breed with excessive (loose) skin around the neck and upper chest; I recommend measuring up 1"-2" to ensure a perfect and comfortable fit.

Very easy to put on my golden retriever. I put it on over her harness and clip her leash to the chest loop. The jacket doesn't interfere. It kept my dog dry so I only had to towel off her paws and head. The XL was too snug so I returned it for XXL. Fits much better with her thick coat. Her measurements are 31" chest, 19" neck, and 23" length which is the XL that was too snug. Really glad I got this for our wet Seattle winter. It has a light fleece lining too so not too warm

I chose this particular coat mainly because it doesn't have a hood. A hood on a dog coat seems silly, and just likely to annoy the dog. This coat feels like good quality, with a waterproof shell and fleecy lining. For our dog, it fits a big loosely, but I think that's good. It's comfortable and easy to put on. This is very important because he HATES it! I'm trying to train him to let me put it on when it's raining because he loves to be outside, but comes in soaking wet over and over throughout the day. With this, I do have to chase him down, but you can get it in place very quickly with the velcro across the chest and under the torso. There is a lot of velcro to overlap, so it's adjustable and easy to match up when your dog is squirming to get away. He's slowly getting accustomed to the coat, and I like not having to towel him off every time he comes in from the rain.

It’s so hard to find a good and large quality raincoat for my very big Labrador. I absolutely love this jacket. The jacket covers the chest and full back perfectly, leaving little to dry once my dog gets back from his walk.

This is a game changer. I wanted something that would cut down my drying time after walking my two dogs in the rain. For them to be willing to wear it, I needed something comfortable and without a hood. This is PERFECT. The thin fleece layer makes it feel like a sweater (which they love), it’s easy to put on, it stays in place, and it’s functional (their backs stay dry). They also look so sleek. My older male dog did accidentally pee on the stomach part 1x, but he has terrible aim so this may be just him and not a design flaw. I followed body measurements and ended up with ones that had a great fit. My mid sized dog is 38lbs and a large fit him well (green in the photo) My little one is 20lbs and a medium fits perfect (blue).

This is such a nice and affordable rain coat for my dog! It is fleece under the coat to keep them warm. It fits my medium size 60lb dog perfectly! I definitely recommend this!! Follow the size chart and it should fit your dog perfectly just like it does mine!!

I have an 18 lb terrier mix. She wears small-medium in most items. I followed the sizing chart exactly. I ordered the small and had to return it. Ordered the medium and it is too small as well. I had to settle for it because my dog won’t do her business in the rain without a coat and we have a week and a half rain forecast. Sorry I spent $19 on something I will need to replace. FYI - The hole on the back for the leash is located too far forward if you use a harness. If the seller fixed the sizing chart and you only use a collar instead of a harness, I would rate this a 5.

This jacket is well made and the material resists water. It does have a light fleece on the inside but nothing that will be too hot to wear on warmer days. The material looks tough enough to survive the washer and dryer. If it doesn’t, I’ll update this review.I bought a size small for my 7.5-pound Yorkie and it fits perfectly. Her dimensions are: Neck: 10 inches, Chest: 15 inches, Length from the base of her neck to base of her tail: 13 Inches (I measured her just like the measurement chart shows). I like her jackets to hit the base of her tail, so she’s completely protected. When the jacket is on her, the Velcro is set as small as it will go.The hole for her leash is located at the neck. I’ll need to cut one farther down to accommodate her harness. This will be an easy fix even for a non-sewer. I highly recommend this jacket.
