This commercial-grade heat press from American Specialty Tool has a large 16" x 20" element (actual size 15-3/4" x 19-3/4") that allows you to create custom t-shirts, license plates, and many other unique and fun items. Transfer onto an array of flat surface materials such as fabric, metal, ceramic, wood and glass. The draw, or pull-out style allows the user to pull the lower platen out from the machine, keeping your hands a safe distance from the heating element (7-1/4" extension provides plenty of room to work). The top opens automatically once the pre-set timer runs out to avoid over exposure to the heating element. The elevated,3/4" thick aluminum lower platen allows for easy insertion and removal of t-shirts or other material into and from the machine. The pressure-adjustment knob allows you to adjust the pressure according to the thickness of the material to which you're transferring. Digital temperature control lets you preset the temperature (in Fahrenheit); the element will stop heating when the preset temperature is reached.
